One of those hotels where you get the sense that management really care about offering a good service. I stayed 1 night on a European motorcycle tour. I was welcomed by the young chef/manager who emerged to greet me as I pulled into the car park. When I commented on the heat, I was immediately offered a bottle of water....

Breakfast was served in the cafe and we were provided with the freshest yoghurt and fruit, ham, cheese and bread and croissant filled with apricot jam. It was all lovely. the staff couldn't do enough for us. I would...

I have travelled around Italy many times, and the gelato here is the best I have ever eaten!!!! It is a family run hotel, and everything is made by hand with love. The ice cream was so good that I had to go back to get more! The pistachio flavour was especially delicious.

On a biking trip round Italy (yes, that's work) I found all sorts of hotels - and this was one of the best. It's neither big nor flashy but it is clean, comfortable, with helpful and friendly (English-speaking) staff and in the perfect location: right on the central square, but with private parking in the hotel's courtyard (fellow bikers take...

This charming, family run hotel is centrally located on the town square. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable and the aroma of fresh baked pastry fills the halls in the morning. The owner and chef will cook a tailor-made dinner of local products upon request, followed by house-made gelato, after which one can stroll along the piazza to the...
