Stayed for one night, with my wife and my Mom. We had 2 rooms and both were absolutely immaculate, it was like we were the first guests to stay, it was so clean, and decorated beautifully with lots of lovely touches, with every possible need catered for. The cooked breakfast was as good as any I have eaten anywhere. My mom struggles to eat some foods, and our host was so attentive and thoughtful and looked after us all so well. I could not recommend this place highly enough, absolutely SUPERB, 5 service in all departments 👍🏼😁 BTW Wendover itself is a cracking little village worth a look, with some great walks to be done.

We just finished our 5th day of the Ridgeway National Trail hike on 9th September 2021 when we checked into the Hale House B&B in Wendover which is situated just a couple of minute walk from our trail. The Hale is really lovely with beautiful room and really modern bathroom. In fact, the house was only built 2 years ago. The owner Susanna made us so welcoming. Before we arrived, we thought the rate was a bit expensive for £100 double room including breakfast but now we know it is worth every penny. Our breakfast was hearty and everything was freshly cooked and prepared. I was very tired when I arrived from 5 consecutive days of hiking carrying my backpack. Susanna went extra mile to offer to take our backpacks to the Tring station the next day after the completion of our 6 day hike on the Ridgeway trail. I am extremely grateful to Susanna's help. We will definitely return to the Hale House again in a not so distance future.

We stayed here in June for two nights while walking the Ridgeway. Suzannah picked us up and dropped us off the next morning very efficiently and was, in every way, an excellent host. We were welcomed with tea and cake on arrival and shown to our large, beautiful and tastefully furnished room. Everything was top quality, from the comfortable bed to the elegant room and the large shower with incredibly luxurious toiletries. Needless to say, it is all immaculate. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious, served in a room overlooking the small but stunning garden. In fact, we loved it all so much we went back for another two night stay in July. This was another very enjoyable stay. Now we are looking for further reasons to visit the Chilterns so we can go back!

My wife and I stayed here overnight as part of a long weekend. The house is modern and finished to a very high standard. Suzanna was the best hostess we’ve met and cooked an excellent breakfast. Would highly recommend staying here. Good location for walking in the Chilterns.

Great accommodation, 4 star in all respects. Very welcoming host and a lovely breakfast. Semi rural setting within a short walk of Wendover town centre and RAF Halton. Stayed two nights and I cannot recommend Hale house highly enough.
