Went there on a Saturday lunchtime. Seemed busy. Very dopey waiter out of his depth, scared rabbit in headlights. Very slow service, despite saying 'excuse me' and the waiter actually making eye contact he still ignored us throughout the meal. Food was lovely but the seafood platter on the special menu was all deep fat fried and had a few...

Took my family for dinner here on a Friday night, 7 of us. Been a regular here for a number of years, both for family dinners and business lunches. The restaurant was 3/4 empty, very rare for here, we had booked as you usually have to. It was a massive disappointment. Four of us had the cod and chips, which...

Uninspiring menu and over priced. Roast pork dinner off the 'specials' menu was mostly inedible - dry, stringy pork and roast potatoes that were almost raw! As for the dessert menu - ok if you are looking for 'stodge' and custard. I'm afraid David Cameron is the only claim to fame here - find somewhere else to dine.

This is a review of the restaurant only as we did not stay in the Hotel. We are not frequent visitors going once a year when we visit friends in the area but this year was so different from last year. Cheap ingredients, indifferently prepared was the order of the day - as an example one of our party had...

Since management change the wait for food is really long. Food still ok but not as good as before. Those that has fish and chips said chips were burnt. My pudding was stodgy and tasteless. Asked about the vegetarian option and answer was very vague.

Although making a frank mess up with our order. The apparent manger made no effort other than a shoddy dessert or coffee. He will be rude and not caring to you as a customer. All he cares about is the new Chinese owners. Menu was very light (not much)
