As usual, the Aman Group managed to source a wonderful and magical location for its hotel! How do they do this???!!! Amanjiwo blends perfectly within the nature and its surroundings, and the proximity of Boro Budur temple makes it even more special. It is, as another reviewer said, a sanctuary of peace. The food served at the restaurant is delicious,...

I recently stayed with my family. My two young kids shared a garden villa with us and there was plenty of room without feeling cramped. The villas are beautifully done and set out in terrace fashion so as many as possible have a view of Borobodur itself (we were on the lowest terrace, right on the paddy field and the...

The irony that the experience of the world's biggest Buddhist temple is made even more entirely magical by staying at the Amanjiwo, is not lost on me. Be that as it may, if you are a visitor rather than a pilgrim, then the Amanjiwo is a divine earthly experience, when combined with the serenity and beauty of Borobudur constantly in...

Aman group is for me one of the best finest and luxury chain. Nothing is too much, it is just perfect. I am always delighted to spend some to any hotels of the group. The view of Borobudur makes Amanjiwo a place to go at least once. You won't regret it.

The room is a Villa. Privacy, LUXURY and at the same time cozy. Impeccable service. Searching for inner peace, a time for your self? This is the place. One unforgettable experience was a typical javanese dinner. We scheduled a transport to town (Toyota Land Cruiser Prado) and I asked for the driver to take us where he used to have...

This Hotel should be called AmanjiWOW ---truly spectacular in every which way! The accommodation, all the staff, the food etc are exemplary. I have nothing bad to say about this exquisite hotel. Despite the opulence and grandeur of the place it was still comfortable and relaxed. Cab't rate it enough!

This hotel exceeds all expectations. The architecture is wonderful, the service of the staff is fabulous and the location stunning. You look from your room directly on the Borobudur. There was even an archeologist on site who gave impressive lectures at night about the history of the Borobudur. In the morning you experience the best breakfast ever after your yoga...

Well dear reader I have to say this was an amazing place to stay on the wonderful island of Java. The reason most people come to this part of Java is to the ruined temples - and I not referring to Mrs Foodi8 and me - but the bhudist temple at Borobudur and the other bhudist and Hindu temples in...

Amanjiwo is an artwork of architecture set between jungle hills and rice fields. You can inhale the unique spirit of Central Java when wandering through the resort. Sitting outside on the private terrace listening to the sound of birds and insects that mingle with the prayers and chants celebrating the nightly end of fasting during Ramadan touched our souls to...
