Hotel was not maintained properly, rooms are in bad condition. NO Wifi in rooms. Too costly for what they serve we pay. Cleanliness is a big question mark??? Room size is very small. One good thing is the location. Breakfast was average.

This is an average hotel , but they will loot you if do late check out . They have charged one day full amount for late checkout . very untidy bedsheets , could see used cotton buds under the pillow !

Occupied Family Room. Room is neat and spacious to accommodate 4 persons with one King Size bed and two single beds. No lift facility is available for this building – 2 floors (this was informed while booking). Reasonably priced. Air-condition: The split A/c is not sufficient for the room and the noise from the A/c unit in our room disturbed us throughout the night. Parking: Parking is real challenge. A security guard is posted to regulate the vehicle movement but someone’s vehicle damaged our parked car and we did not get a responsible reply from the management/staff. Payment: The reception staff requested me to pay an advance while I checked in and informed that the balance could be settled through credit card at the time of check-out. While checking out, they insisted on cash payment. They informed that the card-swipe device was not working. After my several requests, they accepted my credit card (using the “so called not working” device).…

We spent one night there during our visit to the temples and official work at Annamalai university. As soon as you enter the lobby, the place stinks - not able to say what it smells of exactly but similar to old clothes in a closed cupboard with no aeration. The room sheets were stained and no hot water. Will never stay again

Hotel is very neat and clean. Excellent place. The restaurant is very good here. Reasonable price and clean place. Many foreigners come here so you know this place has something good. Place is very close to bus stand 10-15 meters. From chidambaram temple East gate it is 850 meters away so you can go by walk in 10 mins or take auto for 50-60 rupees. Hotel staff helped us in managing our trip very well. Our second day we had checked out in morning and our return bus to Bangalore was in night, so we had to spend whole day somewhere. We asked Manager for suggestions where to go and what to do For half day we spent at Thirumoolar ji temple 65 kms from there. Very good place for meditation, wonderful food experience. We went with car from hotel (1800/-) Car stayed with us and returned to hotel in afternoon. After lunch, Mr. Arvind (hote manager) advice us to go to Poompuhar beach 40 kms from there spend the evening there it was so beautiful. He even manage Car for us for whole trip. (Cost 1600/-) Whole experience was really good and felt very welcomed. Recommended to all who want to relax and want to go nearby places. This hotel is best.…

Only descent place in Chidambaram. Food is very ordinary for vegetarians . Rooms need up gradation.Service desires improvement. But as I said choice is limited in Chidambaram and compared to other hotels this one is preferred.

I had been to Chidambaram due to write my 1st year MSc examination @ Home Centre of Annamalai University in this May.Though I stayed at Hotel R.K.Towers,I used the services like Restaurant & Swimming Pool of Vandayar and I found them quite satisfactory except on the 23rd night when 2019 General Election results were declared & the Restaurant authorities had to stop the services inspite of taking the Orders...I had to spent the night without any food...a unprofessional approach on the part of the Vandayar Hotel employees.Also the bamboo sticks propping out of accessories in the Dining area has started to become a laughable item.Authorities should try to remove them immediately.

The hotel is located in the heart of chidambaram and is very close to bus stand. Always there is sound of vehicles and the rooms are also not that good. The building is pathetic without even a lift facility. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for elder people

We have a stay in executive room last night,16th January 2019, really it was a very bad experience in our travel, # The room was not cleaned properly, # Very poor A/C (air conditioner room), # Very dirty water in the Bathroom ( brown colour) # Fungus and very bad smell in the room, # No proper atmosphere to stay with family, # No proper maintenance, # Extra Bed was so dirty and damaged, # I can't give Even single star to this review # only appearance of the hotel entrance was looking Good, Am giving my review because hereafter no one should get this bad experience..
