Economical but less than average quality. Since there is no time to search, we checked in this hotel. Low quality but for Rs1000 how much one can expect...? It is ok kind of hotel but the advantage is the main temple is at walkable distance and other hotels are also near by.

Rooms are clean with 2 beds, TV (Limited Tamil channels) attached restrooms with water heaters. Just stay and go type. Don't expect much. If you want to spend time (Restaurant, good view, kids play area etc....). Temple is within walking distance. Hotel is just below 400 meters away from the temple. Parking is very cramped in front of the entrance and maximum of 5 cars can be parked. Finally, Decent, affordable and comfortable & not great but not bad.

It's a average hotel for a night stay. People at the lobby are courteous and helpful. Nataraja temple is 500 mts away and 10 mins walk from the hotel. Also the busy stand is near by and 30-40 rs. to auto can make a drop to the hotel. No restaurants attached and we have couple of eats around and easy to buy. It's next to Marry Brown if you need something on non-veg. We walked in during rainy season and we got a smell inside the AC room, we have arranged with a room spray and reception people were responsive. Not a big room though and wash rooms are ok. Do not expect too much.

Chidambaram isn't a well-developed town despite having a very famous temple. Many small sized lodges, and this place definitely seems to be better placed in stay. Walkable distance to Thillai Nataraja Temple South Entrance, and bus stand.

We went chidambaram to visit the Nataraja temple and wanted to stay there for one day.. When we looked for an option we found this hotel pretty cheap. We booked 2 A/C rooms @ 1100/- nett per room. The hotel is 500 mts from the temple. it has some space to park cars one after the other. It was more of a lodge type than a hotel. The room was ok with much needed A/c working well for the hot summer. Not much of amenities inside the room except they gave some toiletries and a water bottle. Even the waste basket was common and kept outside the room. there was a TV in the room which was a surprise. There are no restaurant, if you need a coffee the assistant will get you from outside. The sleep was decent Slightly a noisy place since the buses use the road to move out of the town. The check-in and checkout was quick. they accept cash only. If you are visiting chidambaram and wanted cheaper place but willing to forego additional frills then this place is a good choice.

The hotel is situated about half kilometre from the bus stand.Auto would charge Rs 50/- We had booked the A/c room the previous day on phone and we landed at 6am in the morning. Since there was a strike on that day in solidarity with the farmers in Tamil Nadu( 6am to 6 pm) , the manager asked us to purchase any food items that may be needed as the hotel did not have a restaurant. By the time we returned , the room was cleaned and the A/C was put on. It is a small room 15ft by 12 ft, with a split A/C, one small TV, two beds and a small bathroom. Towel, soaps were given and if anything else is required like extra towel, water etc then you need to ask for the same. The hotel is walking distance( half kilometre) from the South Gate of Chidambaram Temple. Lot of small eateries are present on the route to the temple. If you are boarding a bus to Mayavaram/Kumbakonam/Mayiladuthurai/Thanjavur etc , then you can wait near the cross roads near the hotel. This cross road is just 50 metres from the entrance the hotel on the left hand side.! If you have your own vehicle then parking within the hotel space might be an issue as maximum 3 vehicles can be parked in a linear manner( straight line), which might be an issue if you have to leave early with your vehicle being sandwiched between two other vehicles..!Overall the stay was pleasant and would say "value for money" as compared to the other hotels in Chidambaram which may be priced higher.!

This is more of a better lodge than hotel. Dining is not there. The rooms are clean. However due to salty water the taps have salt deposit which doesn't look nice. The price is very good. It is 1.5 Kms from Station and about 700 meters from bus stand. Natraja Temple is also 700 meters. Owned by a child specialist who is very humble. For wayer bottle and toiletries you need to ask for it everyday, as the manager says that he forgets it ;-) Still I recommend it.

Pros I did not get Luxury hotels and ended with Natraja Residency ( Double Delux AC room for Rs 1223). Entered room with thrill. but we are convinced with Neat Bed spreads, Working Air conditioner & TV and Clean Rest room. Working Lift Free Amneities kit and Coold drinking water bottle as compliment. Walkable distance to Natraja Temple.( 100m) Bus for Vaideeswaran Temple stops near signal (20m) Cons Do not expect anything from front desk because they are less staffed No card payment
