a overpriced hotel for what they offer. TV is not working, not even switches on. No WiFi is there. No polite behaviour. Dont expect more from this hotel. Average hotel to stay. cup board is smelly and not clean. so checked out early. one 1 littre water bottle was provided for 3 people. if they rectify these issues, then we can recommend this hotel.

Booked a stay for 3 triple bed rooms. The rooms are not as clean as one would expect. No bathroom towels, soap are offered. There were no door mats also present and we had ask for it. There is no restaurant attached, however the hotel offers inclusive of breakfast rooms at a premium price. It was a mistake we took this offer. They will provide you parcel at the room which would be difficult to eat. I was surprised when the hotel collected additional money from me since their offer is limited to 150 INR per room and the food costed more. How can they do this when the member details have been already provided while booking room including kids. They collected around 2000 INR per room including early check in.. The staff does not bother about any complaints. The flush did not work in one room, TV did not function in 2 rooms. Very disappointing stay. Better book Siva Murugan Hotel which offers better package and good buffet breakfast

Jeyam Residency Was here on a long stay about 3 months back. Very safe, decent and well maintained hotel. AC rooms with 24 hours hot water. Clean linen. Though the welcome smile is absent, the reception boys execute their functions effectively. Reservation done on phone and check-in was smooth. Located in a slightly calmer road unlike the other hotels in busy main junctions. Easy to find. Limited open car parking. Their restaurant is not functional. Great hospitality and excellent Housekeeping!!! Mostly preferred by families who visit the town to go around the several temples which Kumbakonam is famous for. Highly recommended.

This hotel is very close to Kumbakonam station. Well maintained. In a peaceful locality. Courteous and helpful front office staff. You have to ensure and confirm your rates before you check in. Restaurent it seems is outsourced to a third party. The restaurent has to improve a lot in quality of food, ambience as well as service.

This unassuming property located on dr. Moorthy road is just wonderful. A pilgrimage is not a fun trip. Neither is one out to admire the archeology of arcane temples. This hotel caters primarily to those who want to oblate the navagrahas and other gods. Friendly helpful staff and good food were the essentials and I found it here. Good work. Keep it up.

Location: within a km from Bus Stand Well maintained room. Room linens were kept clean, Staff are decent/good. They helped us arrange for cab for couple of days and were quoted for normal rates. Hotel isnt great but nothing bad though. Not much varieties to munch on. You have some good hotels within half a km range.

I had booked this hotel over the phone. We had checked in the morning at 6.30 am and it was smooth. We had booked a 3 bedroom deluxe for a family of 5 ( 3 adults and 2 children). The bed, linens and toilet were neat and spacious. There is a restaurant attached, where we had our coffee/tea. Morning we went to the local temples and returned to the hotel for lunch. Meals and fulkas were only available ( as is the case in most of the hotels in this temple town). We had booked a cab for our temple visit for the evening through the hotel. We had ourselves dropped in a restaurant for the dinner. We had planned to leave to Thirukadaiyur and Vaitheeswaran koil next day early morning. The cab was delayed by an hour as we wanted a bigger car ( an indica came which we had to replace). We finished the temple visits and went to lunch at Raya,s Grand. The same evening we had to leave back. Overall it was a pleasant stay. Pros: Budget, clean rooms Cons: Very good if you have your own transport especially with family. Please discuss the local temple visit in detail with the cab and choose your temple visits. Ask approximate fares ( bata. extra km charges, parking etc) before confirming the cab.

An excellent budget hotel with very friendly staff and an exceptionally helping MD. This hotel is centrally located and rates are very reasonable for the amenities provided. Mr.Rengarajan, MD of this hotel gave us a very good discount for which we are very thankful. We arrived at around 1 PM on 25th December 2016 and were provided with a triple bedroom. Rooms and bathrooms are clean. A/c available in the room was working fine. Hot water is available round the clock. Normal food with limited choice was available at the attached restaurant which was clean and tasty. We visited kumbakonam for pilgrimage. We went with M/s Sahu & sethu travels that are tied up with this hotel for visiting temples. Owner’s name is shri Sarvanan. They have given a very good support and we were able to visit 23 important temples including navagraha temples in 3-1/2 days which was slightly hectic. We also visited Tanjore Brihadeeswara temple and Chidambaram temple. They were charging Rs 2600/- for one full day on a A/c Indigo. Overall experience with this hotel and the travels were outstanding. Vasudev from Trivandrum, Kerala
