I stayed 4 days at Sacha Lodge and loved every minute of it. As other reviewers mention, the journey in involves a flight from Quito, 2 hour motorised canoe ride on the Napo river, half hour hike and 10 minute paddled canoe ride across Pilchicocha lake on which the lodge is based. The whole experience prepares you for a few...

Incredible lodge hidden in in the Amazon rainforest reached by plane, bus, water taxi, hike and canoe. Unbelievable food and service. Knowledge naturalist and native just for our family group of five. Managed to see most species of animals including a couple of snakes. Busy schedule with tours starting before sunrise and continuing into the night. Peaceful afternoon spent relaxing...

We just returned from 4 nights at Sacha. This is about as far off the beaten path as you can get (30 minute flight from Quito, followed by a bus to Sacha's holding pen, to a 2 hour high speed boat ride to a 20 minute hike followed by a 10 minute canoe ride to their front door). I think...

Absolutely brilliant lodge - large, clean rooms, excellent quality buffet meals, good laundry service (which is very important given the high humidity) and well organised nature tours with very knowledgable guides. An excellent way to experience the Amazon rainforest.

Sacha Lodge was everything we had hoped it to be! Karina Cisnero was excellent in organizing our adventure to the Ecuadorean Rainforest! Our trip started with a 30 minute flight from Quito to Coca. We arrived in Coca and was greeted by several Sacha Lodge staff. A short bus ride to Sachas headquarters where we were "debriefed" and just relaxed...

My friend and I spent 5 days/4 nights at Sacha in late October 2014. It was part of our a "bucket list" trip to Ecuador, and it was awesome! We love to learn all about the natural world, and our guides Roberto and Sergio are so knowledgeable. We had a small group (3), and got to explore by canoe and...

We stayed at Sacha Lodge for 3 nights from the 3rd November. We experienced no problems with our transfer to the Lodge (apart from a downpour on the boardwalk walk - when staff appeared as if by magic with ponchos!). The rooms are very good - bearing in mind where you are, as is the food. Our guide for the...

Sacha Lodge room accommodation is excellent and food good but persons should be aware that their airport pickup service does not always work smoothly. We were left abandoned outside the Coca airport at the roadside for about an hour before being picked up by Sacha staff. Our uggage was the last piece of baggage to be delivered from the plane...

Everything was fabulous - the food, the staff, particularly Oscar our bird guide, the cabins. We also had the same problem with lights as a previous reviewer but on the second night we discovered that we could turn out all our outside lights from our cabin. The neighbouring cabin still had its lights on but that could be blocked by...
