We stayed in Yamuna Eco lodge for 3 nights and had a wonderful stay. Simple and clean rooms in the jungle overlooking a river. Delicious meals (lots of fruit, lunch and dinner consists of different courses with much diversity). Lots of hospitality. During multiple activities the local guide explained about local culture, plants, and animals. Walking in the rainforest, bird...

I want to highly recommend Yacuma Lodge only for those in search of adventure in the Amazon, you will have a unique experience while still being able to charge your iPhone (not in your room) the guides, the food, the experience is totally worth your money. Comfortable rooms and still feeling you are in the middle of the jungle. Don't...

This is a well-run, jungle camp, accessible only by boat. The camp, which is relatively cheap to stay at, offers a wide range of "jungle activities", together with comfortable accommodation and good food. It is relatively easy to reach from Quito, and while this makes it convenient, it is not located deep in the jungle and this is reflected in...

Stayed three nights at Yucuma Ecolodge with a group of 16 people. We were the only guests at the time and very well taken care of. The bambus huts were simple, clean and airy and the beds comfortable with mosquito nets. A bit more space in the rooms and facilities like a table by the beds, would have been appreciated....

Our stay at Yacuma was one of the highlights of our month in Ecuador. The location is beautiful set, only reachable by canoa. The cabin was clean, the garden beautiful, the staff very friendly (gracias Leonardo y Fausto), and the food delicious. We stayed for 4 days and did several daytours, including the walk to the bat cave. This was...

My husband and I, along with some friends, enjoyed 5 days/4 nights of being totally out of our normal environments. The staff at Yacuma took very good care of us on all levels. The food was excellent and plentiful. While our little bungalow did not have a/c or fan, we were able to sleep well each night on comfortable beds...

This place apparently is in a dead zone for animals. Biggest attraction was a dragonfly. Rooms small, falling apart, mildew ridden, holes in all the screens, most of the handrails are dry rotted. And that's the best part of the overpriced place. No fans, not even an electric plug in your room. The only good thing was the food. The...

Arriving at the lodge with motor boats gave from first moment impression that all safety measures were taken into account. We has life jackets on although the boat was very stable. At the lodge were greeted by the manager. Activities including walking in the rainforest and visiting the guides family gave us an impression tha guests were welcome. The local...

I visited Yacuma Lodge in February 2014 as part of a tour with a group of five travellers. We were met on time by the motor canoe that took us to the lodge and greeted by the staff and welcomed to the lodge with a traditional drink. The staff were professional and accommodating and the adminstrator a very gracious host....
