Lovely home away from home with beautiful rooms and fantastic service. The food is very very good and well presented. Secure parking and very friendly owners. Value for money and the views are stunning. They are pet friendly too. There are a lot of places to visit in the area to keep you busy

Stayed here for two days whilst travelling across the country and it was a very pleasant and relaxing stay. The owners were very nice and chatty, the house itself is full of charm and character with a very nice garden to relax in. The rooms were nicely sized with good facilities - a big comfy bed is what counts the...

Without a doubt Sleeping Beauty Guest house was the place we enjoyed staying at the most. The owners are such warmhearted people that create a wonderful atmosphere for all people. The rooms were clean and well presented. A beautiful garden also awaits your visit at the back. We will be returning soon.

Lovely, large rambling homestead set in a sprawling garden on the outskirts of Riversdale. Minicab and Ginger are great hosts. Safe and clean. Go and enjoy yourself. Good stopover if you are encounter down the Southern Cape.

We stayed at Sleeping Beauty for one night in April on our way from Cape St Francis to Cape Town - and felt a bit guilty about the one night element because it is such a pleasant place to stay and because Monica and Jinja were so welcoming. Our room was large and spacious, typical of houses from an earlier...

A group of friends stayed over. Good accommodation, clean and comfortable. We asked to have a braai, and got excellent meat and food to go with it, and Monica also took extra trouble to prepare "banting friendly " food for us. This was followed by a good breakfast the next morning. Our host, Jinja , arranged for a punctured tyre...

My partner had stayed at Sleeping Beauty many years ago when there were different owners. She thoroughly enjoyed it so we decided to give it another whirl. She made the booking with a very friendly owner lady named Monica and we duly arrived on 7 August 2014. It is a "historic" building (I think Monica said it was the old...

We found this place on the way back from Garden Route, it was already night, my friends and I were tired, so we decided to stop in the next city and find some backpackers to rest. We called some others hostels but it was fully booked then fortunately we found this guest house, we knocked on door and a friendly...

I was fortunate enough to discover this lovely guesthouse some years ago and have been staying there ever since on frequent trips from Cape Town to Natures Valley. It is an elegant old Victorian mansion with the most extensive and beautiful garden. It is so peaceful and relaxing to sit and have a drink under the trees after a day...

From outside beautiful house, BUT rooms are old and dirty, bathrooms more than old and non-functional and very dirty. First level rooms do not have air condition and they DO NOT cool down during the night as promised by owners. Roomtemperature was baking hot, we could not sleep one minute. It is a sleeping beauty and to wake it up...
