We booked this hotel on clear trip with "Pay @ Hotel" option. Trip Advisor suggested booking through Clear Trip as it was giving best prices for this hotel. We needed a hotel on our way from Trivandrum Airport to Ashtamudi. Our flight was booked on 23rd Feb, while our reservation at Ashtamudi was from 24th. So we needed a hotel just for the night. This one costed us around Rs. 1,600/- for a double occupancy with a 5 year old kid.
The hotel is again constructed keeping in mind its business visitors. The hotel has only 20 rooms and is mostly occupied by business people. The rooms are spacious and clean. They also offer free breakfast.
Do not expect a lot from the service aspect. They have limited staff and have a very slow service.
The Hotel has a separate drinking restaurant which offers alcohol. The Hotel is prominently located near to the beach and adjacent to the cashew board. The main market is just 1 kilometers from the hotel.
I think this is a good value for money hotel.

I had stayed in Hotel Sea Palace it was really nice room and there services, actually it’s located near the beach. Staff are very friendly they are treated me very well. We stayed 3 nights here in a spacious and clean hotel. Very comfortable, welcoming and very tasty food, excellent service. We had a very relaxing stay. My favorite place during our trip to Kollam.

Its a worth money spend for booking room with hotel sea palace, great service, amazing location, nearest to the beach. Very courteous staff. Breakfast was served in the room on demand other than the fix menu, liked the way they treat their customers.

This place was like a sad, run-down Holiday Inn. Great rooftop restaurant, but it morphed into a strange nightclub for young locals at night. We waited 20 minutes for coffee in the morning, then left without breakfast. Don't stay here. It's weird - and not in a good way.

We went to the Sea Palace for dinner, after finding our own hotel had no bar, and were welcomed with open arms by the manager Ramesh. We had a lovely meal in a romantic location in the rooftop restaurant, with great service, and fabulous food. We were treated as vip guests, even though we were not resident, and were also introduced to the owner and his wife on our departure. I will definitely choose this hotel if in Kollam again, great customer service.

Hi, My Name is Jijo Sam John, and i had stayed there for a week and was given a Deluxe Room which was very Comfortable and Clean. And the best part was the Hospitality of the Staff and even got to know Mr.Ramesh Nair GM of the Hotel who is a very Friendly and Down to Earth person and has Good knowledge about the places to visit in and around Kollam. Meeting Mr . Ramesh and his Excellent Staff was a great Experience during the Stay.

Location - Very Near to Kollam Beach and walkable distance from Bus Stop.
Rooms - satisfactory. Neat and Clean.
Breakfast - provides Idli and Aloo Paratha. Tasty and Good.
Staffs - were so friendly,

As i walked into the lobby to check out early morning, I saw 2 HUGE RATS.
Hardly anyone visits the restaurant and food is definitely NOT fresh.

We, couple checked in to the hotel for 1 night as our main plan staying in Kollam for backwater experience. We found this property huge, spacious but not well maintained or upto standards of good star hotel. Many infrastructural facilities but management & maintenance need to be updated.
Pros: - excellent location, close to beach. - neat and clean rooms, spacious size. - room was very spacious , ac was absolutely working fine. - 24 hrs hot shower available - peaceful in night - huge parking space
Cons : - WiFi in room not working fine, bit slow, can be improved - need changes in breakfast menu and quality, sambar, rasam, idly, puri many items but all bad in taste. need improvements in this segment. - cleanliness in hotel is absent, chairs broken, doors broken - staff in breakfast restaurant not trained properly - red, dirty, smelly water in shower, even after calling staff was unable to solve same - slightly dark corridors
Overall, this is big property & OK to stay for one of night. Some improvements & hotel can be good. Sure won't recommend as first choice.
