Well, u booked Ashtamudi villa thru booking.com and I contacted me Joseph. He said he is out of town contact to manager. When I reached kollam I called manager he guided me to reach the property. I went to property met manager. But I couldn't stay there as I had to hurry immediately coz of some personal reasons. The manager was so helpful he helped us to call autorikshaw and guided how to reach our next destination. He was so polite, helpful and smiling person. The property was really good and away from disturbances and calm and quite. I will really recommend this property

We stayed there as a family of four. Excellent location, very helpful and courteous staff, always going the extra mile. The location is great with wonderful views. Boat tours can be arranged via them as well.I highly recommend this and would love to visit again.

This was a fantastic option in Kollam. The manager kindly upgraded our room as it was my girlfriend's birthday, and ensured we were well looked after during our 2 day stay. It was a beautiful location, with hammocks swinging in the gardens, and free kayak rental on the lake which was excellent during sunset. The breakfast was good too, and it was really good value for money. The rooms were spotless, comfortable and had their own private veranda. Would definitely return again but for longer next time

The setting is idyllic. On the banks of a lake in a quiet residential suburb of Kollam. Great place to see and experience local life. A few steps from your room and you are at the edge of the lake where you can watch the sun set behind palm trees and the fishing nets of neighbouring houses. The staff are competent, and at the snap of a finger can organize an unforgettable canoe tour through nearby Munroe Island.

I stayed for six(!) wonderful days and nights. As a solo traveller, this a great place to transition away from city life. It was very peaceful and quiet ( a number of potential drop-ins left because there is no television), and I was able to work intensely outdoors all day with no disturbances and great wifi. I also loved complete access to a canoe, anytime from pre-dawn to sunset, dusk and beyond. Nadu was perfect and Sanal took tremendously good care of every possible thing. What a wonderful place, with great people!

What a heaven on earth. So peaceful. Away from locals. this place is for nature lovers. Water front. Boat ride available(nearby). Food available just talk to the staff they will hook u up. Board walk at the back side of the hotel. I (female) was alone there for 7 days but felt so safe with the staff. Staff was amazing. Sanal treated me like his family. I will give 100/100 for the service. I can't wait to go back. I realy enjoyed fishing. staff was so generous to make arraignment to cook the fish that I caught . Very clean. Close to Munroe island.

We stayed here for three nights and really enjoyed our peaceful stay. Trips to see temple festivals, paddle around the backwaters of Monroe Island and sight - seeing tours of Kollam were all available. We were lucky enough to have a prime view of the boats taking part in the St Sebastian church festival which came past our waterfront accommodation

We had 2 nights there and had a really great time! The inhabitants were really kind, preparing what we wanted and even lighting antimosquitos candle when we were reading in the garden. The kerala breakfast were delicious. The room was super comfortable, one of the cleanest that we had during our stay. We totally recommend ! Cheers

An amazing place to relax, with palm trees, sea breeze and spotless rooms. It is very peaceful, but there are opportunities to mingle with other guests if you want, but also space to yourself. There are not many rooms, so it doesn't feel crowded, even if fully booked. Joseph was very helpful arranging auto rickshaw drivers and backwater boat day-trips. I wish I had spent more time there.
