Nice hotel - clean room and bathroom. We had a lovely lunch when we arrived but ate out at another venue at night. There is access to the lake at the back of the hotel, however, you have to be prepared for all the debris floating in the water off the jetty. The hotel could make this area a much nicer place to sit and watch the sun go down.

Stayed for 2 nights- 25th and 26th of October.Got a good deal through goibibo.The check in was at the main hotel - Hotel regent lake palace.Transfer to the resort was from the hotel.Excellent location. Good place for family and friends. They provided indoor and outdoor game facilities.They had speed boats and water bikes. Provided on payment basis- rs.3500 per hour for speed boat and rs. 2500 for water bike.The staff were very courteous and helpful. Special mention to Mr.Rajith. He took care of us throughout our stay.Overall we had a pleasant stay at the resort. On 27th we got a complimentary boat transfer from the resort back to the hotel.

Hai, Going there for the first time - The stay in the Village Resort is one of a kind experience. I travel a lot all on business on avg 15 days a month. Love to explore new hotels and which are close to Mother Nature . But this property was in Natures's Lap - Full Island with few rooms, Great picturesque , all around , Good rooms and excellent service. Away from the city yet all the modern comforts. My visit will be of waste if I don't mention Mr. Akhil. The resort Manger - Full of energy and ready to serve.
Sure you will enjoy this place - But at least 2 days u should be there. Great place for Family and friends - All ages

It's tough to maintain the status of a four-star hotel in these troubled times. It's helps if you have a bar attached to it. The Regant Lake Palace Hotel situated in Neendakara on National Highway 66 has a bar. We stopped by for dinner. After ordering food we sat back to relax with a couple of beers which they served at the table (200rs for a bottle) The food we ordered was fish moilee, beef fry, prawns masala and appam. At the very outset I noticed that the appam was way too thin to have any effect on my appetite. We ordered more of the same but it did nothing to whet our hunger. Finally we went for the Kerala porottas. The fish moilee was a disaster. A thin slice of Seer fish drowned in onions and sweet powdered coconut milk was how I can sum up the dish. The taste was OK but I wondered how the chef managed to slice the fish without injuring himself! The prawn masala was good except that the prawns were missing and the few stragglers in it tasted rubbery. The beef fry was unbearably spicy. I have a sneaky suspicion that this dish was geared towards the patrons who haunt the bar. In short although the location was ideal, on the highway, the food was not 'value for money'. The place is hygienic the ambience is good but the cost of the dishes left a sour taste in your mouth. Its their way or the highway!

Visited the restaurant on our way to Kollam. The place is huge but looks deserted especially the restaurant. Probably the longest time we had to wait for lunch after ordering it. It took more than 50 mnts for them to serve food after reminding them multiple times. Payment by card took time since receptionist was missing and some random guy was in-charge of the desk. we had to wait for that too...Fried rice was okay, beef in curry was rubbery. There is annapoorna hotel about 10 kms before it, if you are coming from Alappuzha, so this restaurant can be totally avoided.

An amazing property...it was a perfect blend of Class and Heritage
The credit goes to each and every members of Regant Lake Palace. We all appreciate the warmth and the genuine attitude from starting to end....Our sincere thanks to the staff who welcomed us at Regant...... We did water scooter ride for the first time in my life....
We would specially like to thank the travel desk team for organizing a wonderful sightseeing,House boat cruise and the exclusive candle light dinner right at the side of the lake in the lawn was such a memorable experience

Good food, view & ambiance. Can have boating at Ashtamudi Lake. Boating arranged from the hotel and you can have sea foods. Staff was professional, friendly and helpful. The manager was a good person. They provided quick services. an excellent hotel with various facilities and amenities. It has in-house gym, pool, and also the facility of house boat,speedboat & Water scooters. Room was spacious and very comfortable. Regant lake place hotel is a good hotel to stay in kollam. Really beautiful hotel

In a whole everything is excellent. Enjoyed a lot with my friends. The environment is very excellent. Excellent pool in the island. I never seen this kind of a island in kerala . The Island resort of this hotel is amazing very nice staff. About the hotel overall good .Hotel decor is amazing really like a palace Wonderful lobby room was nice with a good view of lake .

We stayed at this Hotel because we wanted to visit a festival nearby. It seems to be a wedding and conference venue rather than holiday destination. Lots of young staff. Enormous atrium full of dark wood and plush chairs - hotel has 42 rooms we were told - most were empty when we were there. We had a couple of short power cuts - and no reason given as I thought I'd fused the lights with the kettle. Bedroom was spacious and bathroom clean - shower a bit difficult to manage - couldnt get hot water The pool is a boat ride away on an island. The manager took us over to it. More accommodation on the island! Boat ride rather good - with eagles over head and flying fish . We had the pool all to ourselves - very clean but steps into pool very slippery and pavement searing hot around. They rushed around to get us chairs to sit under the shade. They tried their best Restaurant good selection of food and has drink license

We went there for a two today conference in the hotel.The Service which they given was awesome.On arrival they have given tender coconut as Welcome drink.The rest of the day we spend in the island property of the hotel,Regant Lake Village.The very next day the conference start,the function hall was superb.In the night we were having having DJ in the same hall.It was mind blowing.Totally the trip was a memorable experience for me
