Our room was perfectly alright, though the coffee machine did not work and the ensuite was tiny. However the public areas are in dire need of refurbishment and on our particular night, the kitchen let the place down badly.
Went here for a meal. Have a dog so were shown to the bar. Dark, dingy and windows covered with tartan cloth. No daylight but even that didn't hide the cobwebs! Had steak and ale pie at a cost of £16. No veg, just pie...More

Jim really knows his wines, spirits and ales and Anne's food is brilliant. It's also dog friendly so ideal for a food and drink loving couple and their dog.
The music and quiz nights along with the normal banter make the bar a great place...More
