Two couples stayed on a Sunday night before going on to Venice next morning. The rooms were comfy and clean. The ones overlooking the river are quieter than the street side. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our only disappointment was that the restaurant was closed on Sunday night. That had been one of the reasons to stay there, but...

I stay at this hotel once a month. Without doubt, one of my favourite hotels in the world. It's a very special place with an extremely nice family running it. The food is amazing! A must try hotel, just make sure dinner is being served the night you stay

The hotel is super old, nothing has been refurbished for years. Rooms are very dark with only one light. Air con is ancient hence not really working but the rooms on the street side are too noisy to open the windows. Very dusty and not very clean. The staff are not friendly at all. Really no value for money giving...

We stayed three nights at the Villa Goetzen and also dined a couple of nights at the excellent restaurant. Great seafood and nice presentation. We liked our room on the second floor even though it was situated on the side of a very busy road - the windows have double panes and thick wooden shutters. It's a great base for...

Along the Brenta and close to the charming center of Dolo, this hotel and restaurant offers a good choice to visit the surroundings. The room on the second floor (202) was spacious and with a view on the Brenta. Very quiet, cleaned perfectly every day - and for a good price in this area ! We ate one evening in...

Instead of staying in Venice with its crowds and high prices, we decided to stay in Brenta Riviera and day trip into Venice. Dolo is perfectly situated for this and we were happy to discover a nice family run hotel. Villa Goetzen is not very spacious, but very cozy and the owners were able to accommodate our family of 5...

We've stayed here on our first trip to Italy in 2006, and loved it so much we made sure to go back this year. The hotel is a family business, a beautiful conversion of a former residence, and it is impeccable. The rooms we have stayed in are spacious, and the bathrooms large and well-appointed. But the best part is...
