We stayed here for 2 nights and we were upgraded due to issues with our initial room, had to stay elsewhere for the first night (which wasn't anywhere near as nice) but were happy with the upgrade. The hotel is beautiful, the staff are friendly, very clean. Not too far from Venice or Padova by bus. Fantastic restaurant in walking... More

We stayed here for a week in October to use as a base to see Venice. We loved it. The staff were friendly and helpful. The free breakfast is a croissant and hot & cold drinks - adequate start to the day. There is a bakers very near if you require something more. You can also pay to have a... More

We had a lovely week's stay here, dotting between Venice and Padua by bus.(stops very close). The hotel was peaceful with lovely young staff who always smiled and enjoyed trying their English on us and patiently let us try our Italian. There was a calmness about the place, even though there were many guests passing through. For an extra €6... More

I have spent a night with two friends in this beautiful hotel with an unique style. Courtesy, gentleness and reception are like master. The room that they have assigned had a particular and very very pleasant furniture. The breakfast, in the summer, has served in an attractive external garden. The style differentiates this place from the other whole locations of... More

This was a great location for visiting Venice. There are lots of options to get to Venice and Dolo is a quaint little town. The staff aren't overly friendly but they're polite. The hotel seems to have a lot of rules...no food or drinks in the rooms and they only change sheets and towels every 3rd day. They DO have... More

Dear Guest, thank you for your review. We appreciated the fact that you liked our rooms and their facilities. As for the surroundings area, lots of buildings are still being redone due to the awful tornado that hit this place on 8th July 2015. Houses, hotels and other commercial activities were damaged really heavily. Our hotel has some strict rules... More

Although the Hotel suffered tremendous damage from a tornado on July 8th, 2015, they have restored and renewed the hotel to outstanding quality. It's a 3 star hotel (because of amenities) with 5 star quality. Michael and Monia did their utmost to accommodate my requests. Where the hotel is situated requires transportation as it's not close to restaurants or town,... More

Stayed here with family for a week back In june. Charming hotel in a great location for getting to Padua and Venice. Beautiful decor and helpful staff, they even sent a car to collect us from the airport as our arrival was quite late. Would highly recommend! (p.s hope you guys are ok after the tornado) :|

40 minutes from Padua by public bus, this charming and well run establishment provides a comfortable stay to explore the surrounding area. The hotel organized both a day river cruise from right in front of the hotel to downtown Padua, including a sumptuous 7 course lunch meal our group of 14 could not finish. The hotel also set up an... An authentic Venetian villa decorated with quirky traditional wooden gilt furniture. We opted for the spa bath which was hot, bubbly and candle lit. The breakfast is ok. It is not as near to Dolo as it looks on the sitemap. Last time I stayed at the Villa Goetzen which is more modern and nearer to the shops and bars... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Hotel Villa Gasparini is located along the Riviera del Brenta, between the historical cities of Padua and Venice, bus stop in front of the hotel and boat stop to St. Mark's at 8 kms far. The hotel was built in the 18th century by the ancestors of the owners, the noble Venetian family of the Gasparinis. The Palazzetto(literally 'little palace'), which used to be a noble summer mansion in the past, was renovated and converted into a hotel in 2006. Renovation works were carried out with the objective of maintaining the true spirit of its glorious past and the charm of its family ambiance. Today the hotel can offer 15 rooms, each of them representing a perfect combination of Venetian classicism and modern comforts: the ideal place to spend some quality time, relax and enjoy Italian art. ... more   less
