We stayed here for 3 nights while visiting the national park. The cabin inside was very nice with a comfy bed, large bathroom, well stocked kitchen and nice views. Owners and their sons are very nice and helpful. Areas for improvement for us were that WiFi didn’t work in cabins (he mentioned that something had recently happened with the tower), we didn’t have an outdoor table to enjoy the views, but they brought us one when we requested it (they were in the process of painting them) , and the cabins were fairly close together you could easily hear your neighbors, which is always disappointing for me when visiting a place like this. Beautiful property and very close to the foot bridge. Would stay here again if we visited.

Thanks so much for taking the time to write a review. As you noted in your review the WiFi wasn't functioning because of 'upgrade' work being preformed the the telecom company and unfortunately, there was nothing we could do about the down time this created. I appreciate that you would come back out and enjoy our lodging again if you are in this area. Once again, thank you for your review.

We stayed two nights while visiting Wrangell St. Elias National Park, and really enjoyed our cabin. It’s got a great kitchen and a wonderful back deck overlooking the mountains for eating. Andy was a great host and very helpful.

Gregory, thanks for making note of the 'great kitchen' that we provide in our guest houses. As you noted, all of the guest houses also have a large deck with great views to enjoy.

We stayed there for three nights. The location is very convenient. The cabin is very nice and very comfortable. We chose to stay there because Andy and Cynthia allows dogs as well. Turned out it is a great place to stay all around. The hosts are happy to see new guests and are very hospitable. Don't even hesitate to stay at Currant Ridge.

My wife and I brought our two adult sons to see the amazing Kennecott mine and were lucky enough to find this great spot in McCarthy. Andy and Cynthia are great people who made us feel at home for three wonderful nights. Next time we will stay longer. The one bedroom and full bath cabins were perfect. Lots of wildlife to see as well. We spent our evenings around the fire pit discussing our activity filled days at Kennecott and McCarthy. I would recommend Currant Ridge to everyone, it's a gem for sure. Thanks again to Andy and Cynthia!!!!

Stayed here over Labor Day weekend and really enjoyed the place. Our cabin was "The Chitina" and it was very clean and well equipped. Bathroom was large and also very clean with "unlimited hot water". Would definitely stay here again.

Thank you for your review. I love coming home after a day out and getting into the hot shower and just letting it run without fearing that the 'tank' would run out. Super relaxing and I'm glad you got to enjoy it also. Andy
