NO Housekeeper s. No housekeeping, no clean sheets, no clean pillowcases, sprayed bleach to cover up the horrendous osier. DO NOT go here. You have been warned.. you will regret it. Just think about it. THERE IS NO HOUSEKEEPER. No housekeeping. So who cleans? They DONT. . Public restrooms are generally cleaner then the room they gave me.

I booked a night at the Dream Inn, Daytona Beach on 10-31-22. I received an email confirmation for my scheduled visit on 11-25-22. One the afternoon of 11-25-22, I showed up at the office of the Deam Inn. No one was in the office. About 5 minutes later a female entered and asked how she could help. I told her I had a reservation for the night. She said all of the rooms were booked with FEMA employees and there were no rooms available. Eventually, a male employee showed up. He was Indian and approximately 50 years of age. He confirmed there were no rooms available. He was rude and acted like I did something wrong. After tapping on his computer, he said a cancellation was sent to email on 11-19-22. That's 6 days prior to my visit. I have since checked my email, spam, folder and trash folder and have NO email. Have absolutely unprofessional and pathetic of an organization would do such a thing. I had traveled from Riverview, FL. I wouldn't stay with them if they gave me a free week. TERRIBLE!!!!!!!…
We were scheduled to stay at this hotel but TWO days before our trip, we got an email saying that our rooms had been cancelled with no explanation. I called the hotel and spoke to a very angry man. I asked if the email saying our rooms were cancelled was correct and he advised that they were in fact cancelled because they received damage in the hurricane. Now, I COMPLETELY understand that their hotel received damage but that was TWO weeks ago. Had we been notified TWO weeks ago that they would be unable to take guests at their location, we would have found other rooms. Now here we are left in a bad situation and might have to cancel our trip completely because they waited until TWO days before the trip to cancel our rooms. I told the hotel on the phone that we should have been notified sooner because now we are going to have a hard time finding somewhere to stay (its Thanksgiving weekend and a big event is happening in Daytona) and his response was to start screaming at me. The man screamed so much and so loud that I couldn't even speak and had to just hang up the phone. This is NO way to treat your customers (who had 3 rooms booked at this hotel)! Like I said before, I completely understand that their hotel was damaged and that they are unable to keep guests at the moment but we should have been notified WAY before TWO DAYS before the trip. Additionally, the angry man probably could use some anger management classes because that is NO way to speak to a female, customer, or anyone for that matter. I will never recommend a place that treats people so poorly. …
Firstly, my husband and I loved this inn. I was scheduled to check-in tomorrow, which would've been our third stay at this hotel, but things got ruined yesterday. We really loved this inn, specifically - Room 223, a jacuzzi room on the 2nd floor. When we initially stayed at the Dream Inn, we paid around $135/night for this room. It's nothing fancy, could use some cleaning - but it worked for us. The 2nd stay in May, you could tell things were getting hectic. When I booked our stay for May, I requested room 223 - when we checked in, we were given a jacuzzi room on the 1st floor. (I should mention here that the rate increased by about $100/night, but again, we really liked it so it didn't matter.) The jacuzzi sat RIGHT inside the window on the ground floor, there was zero privacy with an outdoor seating area - it was pretty awful. My husband spoke to the front desk who said they were booked, that's where we would have to stay - my husband insisted we requested that room. We left the hotel and went for breakfast, upon our return the gentlemen gave us the key for 223, but acted like another guest wouldn't be checking in because of our demand to move and he was losing money. Regardless, we got the room and enjoyed our stay, but I immediately booked our stay for October in the same room. I booked it directly with the hotel so there would be no confusion. Yesterday, Nick at the front desk, called to tell me he did not have our room available because of the hurricane. I asked if it was damaged and he said no, but he had people working in the room and was hoping that it would be done before we were to check-in. The only room he had available was a room with 2 double beds, which we could have, but he would not give any discount either for price or inconvenience. I asked him if the room could be ready during our 5 night stay, and then his story changed to - he couldn't move the people in the room because of the insurance company. Basically, what he was telling me (in a nutshell) was that, people in the area that were displaced from their homes with storm damage were staying at the hotel and the hotel was raking in insurance money. So, he wasn't going to move someone out of the room we requested. This is common practice for larger hotels, but typically not by smaller inns that rely on repeat clients. This 3rd stay they were charging $260/night for the same room that was $135/night in May 2021. Unfortunately, they've lost a couple who travel to the area 2-3 times a year. The price does not match the quality of this inn, but we were willing to pay it because we liked it. I will not return here.…
We use this hotel before every time when we in Daytona. NEVER AGAIN! Have the bad 👎 new management. The room dirty, front desk person rude....! We sorry this little place. This place need the old management back.
Great Location right on the sand. Good pool but that's where it stops. There is no housekeeping or wifi whatsoever. This was our third stay and they raised the prices so much we won't be back which is sad for us.
The room was not clean for our liking. There were small roaches inside the room and also inside the small refrigerator. This is our second time staying at the Dream Inn, not sure how they dropped the ball on this visit.
Family of 13; the size of the rooms and beds accommodated perfectly. The rooms that we stayed in were neat and clean. The location on the beach was perfect. The hotel also walking distance to a few restaurants and ice cream shop (it was yummy).
Things have changed since Cindy's passing, Who knows where John is, hopefully healthy & happy. Jody needs to sneak in there and see what his hotel looks like. Pitiful I'm not writing a good review with what I endured for 1 flipping night. If ya gotta stay here ask for room 134. only room with a jacuzzi!!
