This was the worst hotel that I have ever visited. The room looked like it was furnished at a thrift store. Everything felt nasty and unclean. The floors were sandy and unmopped. And, because it was a weekend they charged almost 200$ for one night. The tub did not drain. The safety handle by the tub almost made me fall and came off in my hand. There was paint in the tub. I did not rest all night because of fear of bugs because it was so rundown. This was the worst night of my life staying away from home!
This place completely lacks pride of ownership, they will allow anybody here. Currently full of spring breakers screaming and yelling into the early morning disturbing everyone else. Management is either unwilling or unable to resolve the issue so the party goes on. Avoid like the plague unless you do not require respect and sleep.
Filthy rooms. Floors, walls, doors, everything was filthy. Yes, it was "dog friendly," but my dog deserves better. The place has potential, but the management obviously doesn't care. Bed spreads were pilled and covered with sand. Towels & bedlinens were stained and ragged. There was a laundry room on site, which we didnt us, that was filled with rusted appliances. Tub was stained. Balcony was filthy. $177 for two nights. Beds were like rock. Noisy guests were partying and beating on the walls and screaming at 3AM. Parking lot is tiny. Wifi was useless. Got out of their ASAP. Never again.
I booked a room for 3 nights through the motel. When we arrived parking was so small we could barely open car doors. We had to walk half way down building to get elevator (sounded like it was falling apart & smelled) then walk all the way back half way down building to get to room. Trash piled up in corner by elevator. Went to the beach and no railing on stairs leading to beach. Back to room and went to wash up. Towel was damp and not clean thank goodness i brought a towel. No private balcony just a small rail between rooms that you could step over. The glass doors to balcony would not lock so anyone could get into our room. Main door to room would not lock either. Felt very unsafe. TV was size of postage stamp. Toaster rusted & unclean as was stove and refrigerator. No handicap parking. This is the most disgusting place we have ever rented and i would not recommend this place to anyone.…
We arrived at 10:55 pm 5/28/21 and when checking in was told if you need anything that it will have to wait until the next morning cause there are leaving as soon as we check in. Went to room there was patched holes throughout the place ; a hole in the ceiling and dripping rust water or something not quite sure. Tv only had one station. Sheet were stained and had blood stain on one of the covers. Then to top it off there was roaches and trash in the floor. The whole place smelt like a dog kennel. We had to fight to get a refund, but we got it and moved locations.
Room was just awful, towels were dirty / dingy looking with holes in them, ceiling fan in room had fur growing on it, the sliding glass door did anything but slide, the paired bathtub and toilet needed repainting, the wicker furniture in room was filthy need I go on ???
On the 16th, I made reservations. After reading the reviews, I cancelled just a few hours later. I was told I could cancel with 100% refund until the day before my arrival. I was charged for the 1st night as a type of hold on my card. Since I cancelled less than 24 hours later, I should have gotten my money back. Well, I still have yet to get my refund, and I cannot get a hold of a manager. The front desk employee is very polite but her hands are tied.
I paid the same amount for a beautiful clean hotel....i have never been in a room so filthy and disgusting....the health department needs to shut this place down...the floors ...bathroom beds ...furniture ...it was frightening ! And nothing worked ...lights ...ceiling fan ...slider door to patio ...nothing worked...NEVER AGAIN ...next time i book anywhere ...i will see property before paying for it
Room smelled clean, sheets and towels appeared clean. The rest of the room needed work. There are layers of flaking/peeling paint in the tub, it didn’t drain well, looked like mold on the mirror in the bathroom and you can see daylight (the outside) around the ac unit. The sliding door locked but if you pulled hard enough, it would open. Front desk person was friendly. This really is a budget motel. The water pressure will knock all the germs off (visited during COVID), and the hot water gets HOT!
Room smelled like cat piss after being told they don’t allow cats. Asked for towels and kept being told they would bring them to the room. Room was dirty and not maintained. The fridge also was not cold and the toilet didn’t flush properly.
