Found this room for some friends who were in need of a place to stay. As soon as they got there, the front desk person told them they had to leave because they had a group of farmers coming and they needed the room. They had already paid for the room! He gave them the money back and said it was a mistake. My friend's husband went back the next day because they left something in the room and was told (by someone there) that the owner does not like women and didn't want a couple staying there. Enough said.

Stayed here because I had business trip nearby. Hotel was quiet and adequate for what I needed as a solo traveler. Bed was okay, shower was good, WiFi was good. Basic accommodations, fridge and microwave in room.

Where do I even begin. My girlfriend and I were looking for a fairly cheap hotel to stay in for Memorial Day weekend. We found this hotel and decided to book it knowing it was a two star hotel but were surprised to find out just how awful this place was. When we entered the room, we found that the room was outdated and poorly kept despite the staging. The towels had stains all over them and we found hairs in them. The room smelled like chemical cleaner and one of the beds had a hint of urine. The place was so grimy that my girlfriend refused to walk around without her shoes on. To be perfectly honest, I didn’t feel safe there, especially when I came across some of the people staying in their long term rentals. Both me and my girlfriend had bits of anxiety about staying in the hotel and we promptly started looking for another place to stay for the second night of our trip. Omg i totally forgot, the toilet seat was duck taped together (see photos below). No matter how desperate you are to find a hotel, do not stay here (unless you are a fugitive or need a place to pedal drugs).…

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here at Relax Inn! Not only was our experience pleasurable and easy going, the price was right! We coulnd't ask for anything more. Our room was perfect and very clean. We loved it! Everything was great!

I stayed here one night prior to heading to Myrtle beach with my fiancé. Everything that could go wrong did go wrong. We requested a room with a hot tub. It had a run around it. The manager was just going to wipe it out. No bleach or anything to sanitize they said they do not use bleach. There were blood stains on the pillow cases. The toilet over flowed. He wanted us to stay in that room. After requesting another room which he said he had, he changed his mind and said he did not have any rooms. This place is a dump: my skin felt like it was going to crawl! Do not waste your time or money.

Arrived and staff barely spoke English- very rude from check in. Mother in law, daughter and myself the first night. Room said queen bed it was a full bed. Was yelled at and charged $20 for mother in law to sleep one night. She asked to run it on her card he said “No then it’s $27. Card fee.” I have never heard of a $7 fee for using a credit card and even little places have a $5 minimum to use your card. She paid cash and asked for a receipt. Man said “what receipt, no receipt!” Asked for another towel since we paid for another person. No. Never had room cleaned while there. There is no breakfast and coffee maker in room had no coffee no only a McDonald’s sugar packet. Walls had stuff torn off And decorative picture was shattered. Staff would look over your shoulder into your room when you walked out of room demanding to know if you had guests. Can’t have anyone in your room unless you paid not even for a minute. Last night there daughter woke me up screaming there is a bug. Look and low and behold it’s a bed bug!!!! Freaked out threw our clothes and stuff in the car and went to the closest laundromat to start washing our stuff in as hot of water as possible worried about going home with these! Check out is at 11. We drove back to the hotel to get the items in the fridge And wash our hair and bodies. Arrive at hotel at 930am. The man was already in our room getting everything out and told me turn in the key!!!!! I am pissed go to the office and give the key back asking for the checkout receipt. He said “you don’t get receipt. You go now.” I know it’s a cheap hotel but the pictures on here are only the more expensive jacuzzi rooms at different angles. The other rooms are jokes! It is NOT worth the little bit of money you save to stay here. Between rude staff and bed bugs. Save yourself the trouble pay a little more and stay somewhere better. And if you do stay, there is no breakfast, no ice, no coffee, no WiFi, but you do get free bed bugs.…

My husband booked 3 days in this hotel gor our Anniversary. So when we got there its is a hidden hotel on second ave, We got there a little early about an hour. The man that barely spoked english answered the door. Avery small office where the breakfast was also there no real breakfast coffee the taste like mudd and bread. And that was it. I told him that's false advertisement. Wait for some one to clean room with a paper towel roll. We went in.... it smelt like pee i had bought unstoppables from gain. Okspread some in toliet. The towels were used from the people before us. They were dirty. I found a pair of eye lashes on top of Jacuzzi. I dont wear that... Old soap in tub. I was just so frustrated could stay not one more night. Got my stuff and booked another hotel. BBB I will be filing a complaint. Did not get a refund. REFUSED!!!!…

No hot water along with a broken safety device on the door just starts my list of complaints. I booked through a 3rd party and told them I had one child and one adult which shows on the email confirmation I had with me.The man who checked me in could barely speak English so I couldn't get him to understand that there shouldn't be an extra person charge of $20.00 per night. Now i will have to waste precious time trying to get my $20.00 back from the credit card company. My room smelled like a litter box. My king room had a queen size bed. The meager breakfast runs for a big fat one hour! There is no reason to stay here if you have any choice whatsoever.

Honestly, it saddens me to leave this review, since my husband and I stayed here for years. We were extremely excited to take a one day/one night stay at relax inn. We got there and paid for a Jacuzzi tub. Make sure when you check out you put your bringing 2 people. I must have left only 1 was staying online at check out. Front desk charged me an extra $20 and gave me crap about not putting 2 people were staying in the room online at check out. We were paying a lot already (they use to be way cheaper for their Jacuzzi rooms). I let that go and paid the extra $20 dollars. They gave us the key to our room and we started to settle in. As soon as we walked into the room, the smoke alarm was beeping. It started to really annoy us. My husband tried to talk to front desk and they refused to come to the room and fix it. Instead, front desk handed my husband batteries. He came back and spent almost a half hour of our trip trying to fix their smoke alarm!!!! Finally, we thought maybe the batteries they gave us were bad so we left for the night to the boardwalk. We had to stop at 11pm at night when we were coming back to room to a local grocery store. We grabbed batteries and got back to room. My husband again tried to change the batteries. There must have been something with the wiring and we had to sleep all night with beeping every 5 minutes. Despite all that, I wasn't going to make a big deal of it. We were trying to relax and have a good time. One thing that really was the last straw was the Jacuzzi tub. We were so excited to get back to the room and have a nice bath, well let's just say, the water was brown. It smelled like fecal matter. We could not even use the tub. That's why we get that room! My husband talked to the one staff/owner the next day since it was late at night when we discovered the tub. We were informed that the city had a sewage problem and it wasn't there fault. We called the Galloway township on our ride home and they informed us that there is nothing wrong with the counties water system. They lied to us. I wanted a refund since everything was unfixable and our room was terrible. If I had bought two days like I always do, we would have left after the first night and got another room on the strip. There are probably 30+ better places to stay that actually care about there customers. They don't care about their rooms. Sheets are ripped, tub is disgusting, wiring is bad, and air conditioner is terrible and does not get cold. Please do not give them business. I really just don't want anyone to waste their money on this place. It's dirty, dysfunctional, and will ruin your stay in Galloway. This is coming from someone who stayed there for years. It might be so bad that you could get sick. For the amount of money I spent, we could have gotten a waaayyy nicer room and had a better time.…
