Country pub next to National Trust's Blickling Hall estate. We stopped for an evening meal after visiting the estate - great menu and excellent food - good portions and quality - no room for desserts. Service was good and friendly.

The service here was very good and welcoming . The menu had a good amount of choice but isn't cheap - around 15-18 for a main course . I chose a light bite which was fish goujons and a generous portion of chips . My friend chose the cod with scallops which was a rather daunting size . However maybe...

We waited for almost an hour for our food which when I arrived was only just ok. it seemed like it had been waiting for ages under one of those heat lamps, so it was a bit congealed. Bit like eating at a Whetherspoons frankly. Disappointing.

Of course you can also eat in the National Trust cafes at Blickling Hall and that's quite good quality, too. But the food at the Bucks Arms is outstanding - the kind where you have a mouthful (savoury...

Such a friendly pub, staff are so welcoming and the food is the best food in the area! We had a starter and main but only really needed a main as the portions are so generous. Great value for money and a lovely setting.

The Bucks Arms is a very welcoming inn, our room (2) was spacious, very comfortable, immaculately clean and tastefully decorated. It's in a great location, just outside Bickling Hall and a couple of miles into Aylsham. Dinner in the restaurant was very generous (with vegetarian choices as opposed to an option)and breakfast was good, perfectly poached eggs and fresh, local...

This was an opportunistic visit since we had just walked around Blickling Estate (with a visit if you want a nice walk!) and searching for a lunch venue, We arrived here at 12.15 and the main bar area was packed - we took the last table for two with some trepidation that service might be slow We needn't have worried....

Went here because we couldn't get a table at Black Boys and we couldn't have been happier! Beautiful setting, gorgeous outdoor seating area, accepts dogs and amazing food! Just lovely - would highly recommend and will be back! We did actually manage to get a table at Black Boys and wish we had visited the Bucks Arms again instead.... The...

Altogether we were not explained cancellation charges as hotel policy we were still charged full amount for cancellation outside our control. Called as soon as we knew day before due to arrive. Expected some more flexibility on charges.
