It seems you either love this place or hate it. My experience was it was a really nice hotel, friendly staff, lovely location. Had a lovely large room and all very clean. There seems to be a new and old sections. I only ate breakfast (usually fare of fruit and pig, same as in every hotel) so cant really comment...

Didn't stay nor eat here in fact it was my first time there! I was out with family celebrating my birthday (small affair) I have to say the two lovely girls that were serving were outstanding!!! Very friendly & had a smile for everyone. I believe the hotel bar had been refurbished lately & it beautifully done. Thank you for...

Even if it's the last place in Ireland do not waste your time or money on Sunday lunch here. Tasteless, overpriced, lukewarm and swimming in gravy(!) staff too busy to bother with guests! Simply Dreadful

This hotel is dated to say the least, light bulbs not working, grubby carpets, no heating on because it is spring therefore no towel rails heated in the bathrooms. Mouldy sealant in the bathroom - generally the place needs to be cleaned properly. On arrival we were told that there would be no wifi available until Monday. There are no...

I was in Lismore for the wonderful Towers and Tales festival and had lunch in this hotel. The dining area has been revamped in cool greys with stylish seating and I had a Seafood Chowder that was a story of excellence and the quality that went with an exciting family festival. The sun shone the chowder was full of fine...

Stayed in this hotel for 1 night around the middle of March, would have left if had somewhere else to stay. What a let down, Beautiful Building from the outside, but even outside bottles/cans left in car park and broken glass on path at side. Inside they had wrongly booked us for the following night and not the night we arrived,...

For the past three years or more a large group of my family attend the Lismore house hotel and have had great service until this year. The new management that have taken over the hotel really have not got a clue. The recently renovated bar does not suit the rest of the hotel, the Saturday night entertainment is now moved...

The hotel looks quite traditional from the outside. Inside is very modern. Had coffee and a scone. Coffee was very bitter. Big sign on the outside of the hotel offers tea and coffee and a scone for €3.95. I was overcharged as was told the offer only applied to tea and scones. Not concerned about the €2 but the principal....

A one night stay fitted the bill, the hotel is typical of Irish country hotels furnished in maybe the '80's and cold do with a face lift to modernise. there has ben extensive renovations carried out in the bar/lounge/restaurant area, that description is based on what I believe it to be the sole venue for all of those elements of...
