Mary and Eoin were so welcoming and wonderful! We wish that we could have stayed longer. The window to our room opened up to the sound of the river. Awesome jacuzzi tub. The house and grounds are beautiful. It is literally 2 miles from amazing hiking in the Comeragh mountains. This was my happy place and favorite spot in Ireland!...

If you want a perfect place for a quite stay with amazing scenery, look no further! We were greeted with coffee and muffins, had delicious steak for dinner (Eoin is a great cook) and Mary was very accommodating. I would recommend this place a million times over again.

Just spent a wonderful weekend at Honara's Cottage in the Nire Valley. Our room was fantastic, spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The food here is wonderful - Best breakfast ever, and home made breads etc available for a backed lunch, and dinner each evening was superb! This is no ordinary B&B. We stayed for 2 nights over a weekend hiking the beautiful Nire Valley. Room #1 was spacious with a lovely view over the river. Very comfortable bed and a lovely, relaxing jacuzzi bath after a long day walking. Staff are fantastic, helpful and friendly. The breakfast…wow and they offer the option of packing some up into the rucksack for lunch...

Wonderful couple of days at Hanora's Cottage - a perfect place, after a sumptuous breakfast, from which to set off for a day's walking in the nearby hills and to return to the home comforts provided by Mary and her staff, not least of which was a delicious evening meal. Thank you everyone, we'll be back!

A lovely location for a group of friends to relax and chill out after some hill-walking. Hanoras cottage is like a home away from home: welcoming, cosy and friendly. Food was great, service was efficient and pleasant at all times, Thank-you to Mary, Ina, Anne and the Team for a great weekend.
