As it was in our bucket list since long, finally we made it now on 15/4/22. When we reached there, they welcomed us with garland and super cool kashmiri kahwa. After finishing the formalities, they guided us to our room. We were amazed by the cleanliness and of course interior. The 500+ heritage property has all the modern amenities. They have 40 rooms but beauty of the thing is none of them are same. The staff is very well trained and courteous. Talking about food, they have a huge menu. They serve Punjabi, Rajasthani, Chinese, Continental to choose from. And taste wise, it was excellent. Even the presentation was so good that even if you don’t want, you feel like having it. As there is no sight seeing nearby, they offer different activities in the property. Swimming, cycling, table tennis, carrom, chess etc. They have spa also, but for that they charge extra. Only one thing is missing, traditional dance/singing(cultural program ), to entertain the guests at night. Must visit property. Preferably, go in group, so you will enjoy it more.…
This place is slightly outside of Udaipur but if you want to just go somewhere and relax and enjoy the property for a weekend without having to step outside the resort, this is the place to go! Rooms are luxurious especially the suite rooms. They have a great swimming pool and a bar right next to it. Food is great! my recommendation is to take an all meals package!
We were there to celebrate kid's birthday plus family outing and staff was helpful and attentive enough to plan a surprise mid night cake cutting. Right from reception to chef every staff person is helpful. Property is well maintained. Special highlight: Terrace. It offers amazing sunset view.
Can feel the charm and serenity of the place the moment we stepped in. Had a perfect stay would highly recommend the place. Entire staff was outstanding ( few names I still remember - Bhawar and Arvind ) and all of them went out of their way to make sure the comfort of the guests are well taken care off. Well appointed rooms, outstanding food, great hospitality and picturesque property are a mojor draw. Eventhough the property 45mins away from the city center, its blissful to have a calm and peaceful stay away from all the hustle & bustle. Staff can arrange a city tour on request along with some other outdoor activities so do enquire if needed.
Amritara Gogunda Palace is definitely off the beaten path and worth it for the experience it provided. About an hour from the city, so we did have to plan out our sightseeing in Udaipur. Mr. Bhawar was wonderful and very attentive the entire stay. They coordinated our taxis/drivers and helped us decide what we should do. All staff was very attentive and helpful. Bar staff kept our drinks full! As far as the property goes, it truly is an amazing experience. We stayed in the Gogunda Suites and the rooms were so exquisite. Each one was unique and had different characteristics. The beds were comfortable and AC's were working well. The pool was clean and very much appreciated after a day of sweating while sightseeing. Our only minor inconveniences were having to call down to have the water turned on and wait 15 minutes (sometimes more) to get hot water and the Wifi not working in our rooms. We were told the Wifi worked well at the restaurant and at reception. With that being said - these inconveniences did not affect the overall rating of our stay. We even purposefully left a day to spend at the hotel to relax and enjoy the scene.…
