Gogunda Palace is a very nice cozy compact heritage property. it is a old palace of 1567 restored and converted into a Heritage hotel. Food is good , service is homely. Rooms are different types & categories , when a old property , especially a palace is converted you have many areas and rooms with different sizes and layout according to their purpose in the past , hence when you convert them, into a Hotel bedroom , attach toilet , canceled lighting , plumbing , air-conditioning becomes a challenge. Few palace room are on first and second floor for which you have to climb steep stairs. Wi-Fi is weak inside the rooms , Hot and cold water is a issue , sometimes both the taps discharge hot water some time both discharge cold water. Plumbing setup need a serious revision. Over all a nice place for weekend, good food, cozy room , nice comfort , good service too.…
The hotel is a heritage property. One must appreciate it for spending huge money in restoring the original structures and to converting it in a hotel needs a big heart. I salute them with my both hands. Management is too good the manager Mr Satish is so helpful took care of my family’s for 2 days. Rooms were very nice. Clean and bedroom. Food was great. One can say Paisa vasul .
It is a historical place where coronation of Maharana Pratap took place. Very serene and quiet place. The rooms are aesthetically done and retain the character of the place. Elegantly restored and with all modern facilities. A great team of people. Very attentive and good at follow up. Good food. Really enjoyed it.
We spent Diwali at Ghogunda Palace. It's a serene property in the middle of a bustling village, but once you are inside, the whole ambiance changes and you are transported into a surreal world. There are large number of rooms to choose from and each room is unique. Well appointed, clean and comfortable. It's a huge property and there are various spots where one could relax. Almost all rooms have a sit out. The staff is efficient and courteous. Food could be better, though they have a good breakfast spread. Overall it was a relaxing and rejuvenating experience.
We visited here in September 2020 post covid and were the only people on the entire property! The rooms (bathrooms even more) are beautiful and the entire property is really well maintained. The staff is courteous and very helpful. Backing up the place is a great history of Maharana Pratap which made our stay even more special. The only thing I would have liked improvement on was the food, however since there was no one on the property the limited menu they had made sense.
