We arrived at Il Casale delle Rose soaken wet from climbing the steps in Caltigirone in a horrible rainstorm. The last thing we wanted to do was go out again looking for dinner, so we were happy that the proprietor said he could fix us something. We emerged from our comfortable room several hours later and walked across the stone...

We loved our stay here, and wish it was for longer. We stopped here for an overnight between Syracuse and the Roman Villa on our drive through the Noto Valley. This is a hidden gem. You need to have a car to stay here, and the road is narrow, curvy and steep down to the valley off the street (the...

We visited for three nights in August. The place is not far from the city but once there you're in a tranquil and peaceful valley surrounded by nature. We had clean rooms with a terrace overlooking the countryside. Daniela made sure we enjoy our stay, Zara is an extremely efficient lady serving from breakfast to dinner and Giacomo is the...

This place has just has it! The complete Sicilian experience. Sicilian countryside, very nice Sicilian family running the agriturismo, awesome organic food, wine and beer. Oranges growing in the backyard. If you do not relax here, you don't relax anywhere. We fell in love with the place and the people, and we will visit this place again. I strongly recommend...

Of the four places in Sicily, this was the best. Nice rooms, without air conditioning, but OK because the thick walls of the building well isolate from the heat outside. Very friendly staff and great chef Giacomo, freely arrange meals, A large swimming pool. Nice place, I would like to go back there.

My wife and I stopped over just one night and wished we had more time to stay longer. The setting was typical rural Italy and a picture and we couldn't have been made to feel more welcome at the farm. The orange orchard was still a picture with fresh oranges straight from the trees. Our room was delightful and the...

Casale delle Rose is a real working farm just outside Ceramics city Caltagirone. If you are at the courtyard with the lionfountain of the farm or look out from your balcony over the orange and lemonyard it is so quiet you cannot imagine you are close to a big town. The rooms above the courtyard are not really luxurious but offer...
