Set amidst green fields, and towering coconut trees, our home stay sits in a quiet little spot, about 100 meters away from the picturesque Thottada Beach which is perfect for a swim The proximity of KK Heritage to the beach ,renders it an ideal vacation get-away to those who are looking to soak up some much needed sun and beach air. The abundance of surrounding greenery serves as an abode to a cluster of birds thus making bird watching one of the prime activities at our vacation home. With Kerala’s famed coconut trees serving as an enclosure, we also offer a glimpse into toddy tapping – one of traditional Kerala’s oldest occupations. We make arrangements for you to witness Theyyam a ritualistic dance form seen in North Kerala only. If getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city life is a priority on your vacation to-do list, come away to KK Heritage where beauty and serenity go hand in hand.Kannur international airport is 25 kms from KK Heritage .

This is one of the finest place in Kannur for a relaxing stay. Tucked away in front of the backwaters, with the beach at walking distance. You MUST stay here for: 1. Amazing, comfy and clean rooms. The homestay is extremely calm and cozy. 2. Amazing food. Trust me Sreeranj is one awesome cook. His fish curry, puttu and Kadle curry, and Moru curry was lipsmacking good. Food was filling and utterly satisfying. 3. Sreeranj is one of the nicest, humblest host I’ve met on my travels. His gentle approach and helping out with our stay was definitely the highlights. No wonder this place has a raving reviews from all travellers. One needs to keep in mind that this place must be booked for people who love tranquility, wants to bask in the calmness of nature. If you’re of the type who enjoys loud music, is particular about drinking to your hearts’ content then perhaps this place is NOT for you.

A homely getaway at the Thottada beach is ideal for a family get-together with 5 double rooms on the river front n the beach 200 meters away. Good food served in the garden among the green foliage and sea breeze by warm hosts n owners Ranji n Jyothi who brought in a surprise Christmas cake on Christmas Eve to make our stay even more special.

As the locals call them , Ranjiettan and Jyothiechi, were very helpful and warm hosts. The place is surrounded by greenery and the beach is less than 5 mins away by walk. Rooms were very neat and clean and food was simple, yet very delicious. The kids had fun just running around and ofcourse playing on the swings. We enjoyed our stay and looking forward to visit again.

Ranjit and Jyothi are two perfects hosts... They will do everything to help you (they really did it!!!) We already came a second time at their place and for sure we will do it again with pleasure. Come during theyyam period, it is not to be missed and if any other time, the desert beach (3min away max) will welcome you. The house is surrounded by a quiet and nice environment, birds are flying all day long among the trees. You won't be disappointed

We stayed several days at KK Heritage and our host Sreeranj looked after us very, very well. The food is superb, some of the most inventive and tasty dishes we had in Kerala, all cooked with the freshest ingredients. We were regularly asked what our favorite dishes were and he cooked them again when we asked. The homestay is comfortable and within easy walking distance to the beach and quite close to a village, Adikadalayi which had a festival whilst we were there into which we were welcomed. Our host was extremely helpful in arranging special trips to see Theyyam festivals in nearby villages during the day and in the very early morning. When we needed an emergency dentist he quickly and efficiently arranged it for us. We had a fantastic stay and met many interesting fellow travelers at mealtimes. The two rooms on the ground floor are easily accessible, but the stairs up to the top floor rooms are better for younger, fitter travelers.

Serene, peaceful, warm and friendly. Could have stayed a lot longer than 3 days. Ranji was super attentive and helpful. I was keen to learn to cook, and he welcomed me into the kitchen, showing me exactly how he prepared each dish. The rooms are basic but comfortable. And the location is superb. Set back from the beach along the river, it’s cooler and greener than by the beach. Communal eating made it easy to socialise, but also there is plenty of space to have quiet, introverted time! Would highly recommend it.

This is a wonderful place to escape the fray. Peaceful and quiet with good food. Ranji was very kind and helpful with organizing some medical treatment for me for which I’m extremely grateful. The upstairs rooms have a good view of the waterway. Good bird watching. And we saw an interesting theyyam which we walked to. The sea is only 5 minute walk. We would return if we could.

We arrived at KK Heritage, warmly welcomed by Sreeranj and Jyothi, whom make us directly feel comfortable. Their house is clean (as the rooms are!) and beautifully surrounded by a garden, where so many birds comes every day. From the balcony, you can enjoy the view on the backwater, the trees, the birds,... this place is so quite, it was really a pleasure to chill at KK Heritage! The food is really tasty, and sreenanj always try to cook different things everyday.... It's really 3min walk from the beach, that you can enjoy almost with nobody ! We spent 10days in this small heaven, more days would have been great as well! Ah! And thanks to Sreeranj, we managed to see theyyam! What a great experience! We definitely recommend this place!
