Huge open sea facing cliff with a well planned structure giving a feel of being on a pier…decent car parking, ample tiled open space with sitting facility facing sea…well set rooms and shopping centre. Small restaurant, well furnished with limited sitting but elegantly done…
Professional service, elaborate menu covering different parts of our country, Pan Asian and continental.
We tried their Cream of mushroom soup….perfectly done. Got kerala parottas from kerala menu and Dragon chicken from their panasian menu…. The Porottas looked like frozen ones heated on tawa…unevenly burnt The chicken in the dragon chicken was too hard difficult to tackle even by using bare hands….
This was brought to the notice of the management…the chief chef came to our table and apologised. He came back with a perfectly done dragon chicken….appreciate the management for their swift response….
Finished the dinner with fruitsalad topped up with ice cream…yummy
Ambience 10/10 Service 10/10 Facilities 9/10 Food 8/10 Pricing Fine dining Overall 9/10
Personally got the feel of being on Pier 39 SFO….

We had booked 3 rooms here for 2 nights, one was supposed to be triple accommodation as per website. The location of the property is superb beyond words. The outer façade of the property is well designed aesthetically. Everything except the rooms were a disappointment. The rooms were too small, congested, broken cupboard(yes with one door of the almirah missing). The sitting height of the bed and mattress was too high, one has to literally jump on to the bed to either sit or sleep. The bathroom was a big disappointment, the pot and the shower clubbed together in one corner, no space to move around. Too much space saving. Services were good, food quality was really good. Lovely ambience to sit in the common porch or kabana and watch the sea and the sun set or sun rise. Barring the rooms, everything was good about this property. Hope they do something about these small congested rooms. Would definitely recommend for the location and view and of course the food.

Perfect location and amazing view The hotel gives best view, beautiful rooms, just right on the sea, you can always have sea view, imagine waking up to a sea view and at night with lighting the resort looks even more beautiful but rooms are not so clean.Food is not so good. They have parking. Weird entry to the hotel, you will feel as if you are entering from back gate.

We checked in in the evening after a 12 hour drive. We were greeted courteously, checked in efficiently and taken to our room, the fabulous Kerala Suite; sea views on 2 sides , large balcony with tables and chairs, a delightful sleeping area complete with very comfortable bed, acres of wardrobe space, a lounge are with table chairs and a sofa that converts to a bed and a bathroom with walk in shower and rain shower. Everything was clean and in good condition. Some of the furniture honoured the artist community in Kunnar and was interesting and beautiful. The food was very good. Breakfast was a generous buffet of fruit, yoghurt, juice, cereals, boiled eggs and traditional Indian breakfast dishes. Delicious. Dinner was a more expansive affair if you wanted it to be. TOP TIP the Kerala Prawn Roast is listed as a starter but it makes a fabulous main course paired with, say, lemon rice. The best course in a4 week trip. The staff were all polite and very helpful and the location was spectacular. In all we loved staying here

We booked 6 rooms at this so-called Resort, I don’t like degrading a business. But the service here was terrible. All the 6 rooms had either a very noisy or a water leaking AC. None of us in those 6 rooms were able to sleep that night. There was no wifi and a very poor network as well. The room condition was not that good. The bathroom - Almost all the showers and Basins were rusty (maybe because of the sea breeze and all) But it looked very bad. The funny part: Our room curtain was not fully closable, so people could see a small part of the room from outside and at that part of the room there was a mirror and through that mirror our bed could be seen from outside. Literally, anyone outside our window was able to see our bed 🫣. Not at all worth the price you are paying for. To the owner, either you change the management or compel them to take care of your property very well.
Note: nice beach view by the way

Veryy rude manager , u cant have alcohol outside your room in your own sit out again the guy will come running and start shouting, u cant order food after 9:30 that also u have to make sure that u will order befor 9:30 and keep the food and let it get cold and eat , really paying 5k per room for cold food ?? After we left with the groom one of the room was to be vacated. But we thought we wld check out by 1:30 again the guy from the reception in the middle of the wedding function called up and started yelling , yes they literally yell .. not all rooms are same on the ground floor room no 107 smelled badly of termite treatment.. overall it was not a very good experience ..

The View outside is good but the rooms were small in size , the bathroom did not have a wet and dry area, the shampoo & shower gel hasn't been changed since ages , the flooring was dusty , the bed spreads had stains. The complementary breakfast had very less options . This can be opted for a bachelor stay but not for a family stay . It cannot be even called as a resort - a lodge across the sea - that's it . Delux rooms are overpriced and super congested. The only attractive feature is the view outside as it's sea facing. It has pathetic cancellation policy as well

The ambience of the hotel was excellent. It's situated right by the ocean on a cliff, you can hear the constant sound of waves crashing, which is very soothing.
The resort staff is very helpful and would attend to our needs. The resort is just 1km away from the beach. Hence the beach is at a walkable distance.
Food quality was good but the options for vegetarians was quite limited. The fresh fruit juices served along with the breakfast were very energizing.

Stayed here for a night enroute to Kochi. The pictures are much better than the actual rooms, probably taken at the time when they were new. While the design and look is well curated, the maintenance is bad. The air-conditioning took 4 hours to come to a bearable level of 25/26 Deg. The hot water kettle did not work even after 2 changes, so no tea this morning. Breakfast was passable at best. The price we paid at 6200 was equal to what I paid at a five star property in mangalore the previous night.. At best this should be half of that.

Best North indian and continental food in kannur. Chef Rohit is a master of his craft. The service is very good. And the expansive sea views adds a charming aesthetic to the place. Being situated on the cliff, there is a constant sea breeze in tbe evenings which makes outdoor dining a very pleasant experience. Highly recommended!
