We had chosen this resort among the many resorts lined up at this beach due to its small and quaint nature. We had a good stay just sitting outside our balcony and watching the sea. The staff, Mahesh & Vasant catered to our every need and were present 24 X 7 to serve us. The Manager, Mr. Radhakrishnan is very meticulous about the services and runs a tight ship.
Their spa is very good which is a definite try to all.
The menu is not so elaborate and charges are quite high.
Due to rains the indoor games were not operational and hence we were a bit bored at times

This was hands down one of the best breaks I’ve had in a while! I stayed at this beautiful resort right across from the beach, and it was exactly what I needed to escape my hectic routine. A friend recommended it, and I couldn’t be more grateful. The Ayurvedic spa was incredibly relaxing, and the staff was so warm and attentive, making sure every little detail was taken care of. What I loved most was how quiet and uncrowded the beach was—just pure serenity. The resort itself had such a peaceful vibe, and the clean, cozy rooms made the stay even better. Definitely a place I’d love to go back to!

One can’t be closer to the sea sitting in the room itself than at Asokam Beach Resort . The resort offers peaceful and luxurious stay against the backdrop of sea waves coupled with fantastic hospitality and delicious homely food. Well maintained rooms , premises , dining hall , swimming pool etc. add value to the money. Staff members are extremely courteous and helpful. Management arranges for vehicle as and when required and hence even transport to town is also not a problem for those who do not have own vehicle. In all respects , the stay at Asokam is worth the money .

Excellent stay at Asokam Beach Resort. The serene location of the property and the proximity to Payambalam beach makes this place a must visit. The staff including the owner is very nice and caring. I had visited Asokam Beach Resort about a month ago on a short trip to Kannur. Everything about the stay was incredibly relaxing and comfortable, including the cleanliness of the rooms and the excellent service of the staff. Not to mention, the resort had wonderful views of the surrounding area and the beach, which was a convenient walk away. The most therapeutic part of the experience was the ayurvedic massage and treatment which left me completely rejuvenated. I would definitely revisit this beautiful resort in the future!

We stayed here for 1 night in December 2019 with 2 adults and 2 teens.
Staff were very helpful and friendly.
The rooms are good - fairly simple and clean. The bathrooms were clean but could do with being renovated.
We only ate breakfast in the restaurant - it was a fairly standard Indian breakfast - but was tasty and refreshed regularly.
The pool area looks nice but we didn't use it. The hotel is opposite the beach which is beautiful.
I would stay there again.

This place is right by the beach and the best part is it’s quiet and has big lawn where kids can be engaged. I stayed there for 4 days and enjoyed my time there. Mr. Radhakrishnan was friendly and helpful.
The view from windows is breathtaking and when sun sets and everything goes quiet we can hear waves sound which is indeed very relaxing.

We were only here for one night (family of 4 with 2 teens) using it as a base to see a theyyam in Kannur. we had two spacious rooms with clean bathrooms (though dated). The beach was beautiful and the sea warm. The pool at the hotel looked good too though we didn't use it, ditto the ayurvveda spa which we would have liked to have time to enjoy! the staff were really friendly and helped find out about local theyyams and also recommended a restaurant for dinner in Kannur. Sad not to have been able to stay longer - it's a lovely spot and very unspoiled/untouristy. Definitely recommend

I have stayed at hotels and Ayurvedic centres across the world and across India and truly valued the services that I received at Asokam Centre. The staff, hotel owners and Ayurvedic therapists were truly first class and did everything they could to meet my every day and make my stay 28 day stay very enjoyable. Food was excellent and rooms were very clean.
I would also highly recommend the Ayurvedic treatments to help you relax from a busy office job, improve immunity and mental focus. Speak to the owner Naveen, he is very knowledgeable about Ayurvedic practice and history. Thank you again!

This was my third time staying at the Asokam Beach resort with my girlfriend and was as welcoming and relaxing as ever. We stayed full board with 10-days of Ayurvedic treatment. Food was great, the massages just amazing and now there is also a pool for a dip. Saying that the resort is right on tge beach so if you prefer jumping waves you are spoilt for choice, or just relax with a sunset walk along the quiet beach.
