We stayed in August for 3 night (family of 4 with 2 young kids). Location is excellent and they have a nice breakfast area with good quality fresh foods. The room we stayed in was actually a decent size considering there was 4 of us! The location is 5mins to the beach and 5mins to the waterfront area where there...

I stayed on one of the mattresses on the floor in what looked like a dance room. It was cleanish, but one of the windows was smashed. The unisex showers were hot, but not that clean. There was an unpleasant mouldy smell around the pool area and pilgrims could not use it until after 8. Food available was basic but...

I had a nice clean, comfortable, basic room in this well located hosteria. My only problem was that you could hear everything through the walls. There was what sounded like a loud verbal domestic argument from the room next to me and I heard the owner ask them to leave. Some other guests came back late and made a lot...

Stayed one Saturday night while walking the Camino del Norte. We were expecting a noisy night as the hostel is located right in town near major round-about and night life. However, being very tired we slept through the night despite the somewhat uncomfortable beds, but I guess you get what you pay for! We had a brightly decorated triple room...

Well it was a combination of making the original booking in my English name through ´Bookings.com´ in early June, then prior to my trip in Aug, I forgot my password to Bookings and accessed it using the facebook login facility. Unfortunately, my facebook account is in my Irish name and...

We arrived to Castro Urdiales without hotel reservations and after checking several hotels Pension Habitaciones Economicas was the best value. The Pension Habitaciones Economicas is a short walk to the bay where there are several restaurants and the lighthouse and church. Since we were asking for two rooms the lady at the reception gave us a discount. It didn't hurt...

This place was GREAT. The pension is on the second floor and appears to be family run by people wh live right there. Very homelike feel with brightly colored sheets and towels. Very modern, spotlessly clean rooms and baths. My room had two twin beds, a small wall mounted desk with chair, nightstand, large closet, wall mounted TV, the most...
