First of all, this hotel notices the years, the bathrooms are preserved but need renovation. Rooms are good and relatively spacious and clean.
In reference to the restaurant last night we had dinner there and it's okay, nice staff
The cafeteria is quite another topic. We have breakfast included with the room and it is a standard breakfast, no buffet, coffee, juice, infusion and little else. As for what you can eat you also have many limitations and the toast is harder bread than a morning hangover and they also have no great variety of things to put on it. Staff-wise the bald older gentleman is the nastiest person I've encountered in a long time. He treated both me and my family and his own peers terrible and made me swallow toast, burnt and dried when I wanted a croissant, to which I was entitled, and when I informed him that I could eat it he treated me with ways that I have not seen anyone who works in front of the public in a long time, telling me that he was not right and despising me.
In general the regular experience because we met this gentleman on the first day, which made him no longer daydune there, although you pay it anyway. I would look at the other hotel for the next one that seems much newer in terms of bathrooms above all.
The rest of the staff very friendly and thank you, but I will not return.
The food in the dining room was exceptional with an amazing choice of dishes, As I am lactose intolerant, this was not a problem for the staff & seemed to take it in their stride.
All staff were very friendly & went out of their way to try to speak some English so life over an Easter period was special.
We will always recommend this hotel as its within an hour travel from Santander & very easy to find - you cannot go wrong!!
The restaurant opens at 9 which is a little later than most Spanish restaurants but the food was worth waiting for! We had menu del dia which included turbot as a choice - this was superbly cooked!! The breakfasts were served in the cafeteria & were sufficient for our needs. The staff were very friendly with the receptionist speaking English. We would certainly use this hotel again.
The rooms are spacious & there is plenty of hot water to enjoy. There is central heating in the rooms.
The staff are extremely helpful & friendly , speaking some English. The restaurant opens at 9 in the evening but the quality of the food is worth the wait. The staff go out of their way to cater for any dietary requirements with nothing being too much trouble - the waiting staff speak some English & are super helpful.
Breakfast is served by friendly male staff in the cafeteria & is perfectly adequate.
The staff were extremely helpful & spoke good English. The rooms were spacious although on the basic side, they were very clean.
There is a good restaurant serving menu del dia from 9 at night & the cafeteria where breakfast is eaten, was well staffed & clean.
This is a perfect location for travellers who want a convenient stop-over.
Our only complaint, which the managment could not deal with effectively was the noise generated by a group of Portuguese students who happened to be staying at the same time
We would use this hotel again.
