Hi, I went to Paradise Hotel which costs 1100 birr. Then on my way back, I went to 40springs which costs me 300 birr. 40springs was really good. A good net, mattress was firm, shower and toilet clean. The only thing that Paradise offers that 40springs doesn't have is the good view but it is not worth the price I...

This hotel was booked for me by my Ethiopian travel company, so I don't know the price but it should be a budget hotel. And I was ready to find anything: old furniture, bad maintenance and so on. But what I didn't expect was holes in the mosquito net, stains in the bed linen, leaking water heater (a bucket was...

Thank you Fufaita for your review. I'm glad you liked the banana milkshake. You acknowledge that you were accommodated on the second day you visited by a staff member moving out of her own room (due to all hotels in Arba Minch being full for University graduation). There had been no reservation for the second day, in fact there was...

Forty Springs is my favorite place to stay in Southern Ethiopia. Even if I am not spending the night in Arba Minch I will always at least stop by to say hello before traveling on. Asefu Tekle and her sisters, who own the hotel, go out of their way to make all travelers feel truly welcome. Many times they will...

The room on the 2nd floor had two giant, comfortable beds with mosquito nets. Big tiled bathroom with hot water and soft big towels. Very clean. Friendly staff and nice food. The loud music in the evening was a bit disturbing but we were too tired to go down and complain about it. I believe they play it for themselves...

Thanks for the positive review appreciative of the large beds and comfortable bathroom facilities. Sorry about the music, we sometimes get absorbed in the tales of love being sung and lapse in attention to the needs of our guests. We are glad of the warm recommendation. Oliver R

You cannot expect too much for South Ethiopian hotels, thus I gave 5 stars for this based on this standard. The hotel boss Billy is very nice and friendly. The breakfast is really good and they have a good garden which you can enjoy your meals, We hired a car whose driver is Fiyesa and had a 4-day tour around...

We were actually surprised to find such a nice hotel in Arba Minch. We paid 450 Birr including breakfast for very good and clean room and a good bathroom. The hotel even has Wi-Fi. The only problem is the music played in the hotel garden that literally shakes the room. They turn it off at around 9 or 10pm, but...

I've spent the last 8 months in Arba Minch and this is by far the best place to eat. I eat here once a week at least. The best fish goulash in the area. Awesome french fries (chips) and the Ethiopian tibbs is wonderful too! The hospitality is better than most places. The wait staff does not speak very much...

Great ambience. Good service. The rooms has mosquito nets. Quite useful. A calm and quite area. The service and quality of food is excellent. A fan inside the room would have been more comfortable during summer. It was okay in most of the time but at times under the net it becomes little bit warm. Nice place to relax.

We stayed here a couple of times. Rooms vary in quality and functionality so check your room. Thank you to the reviewer for your comments. When problems occur with plumbing and electircs we rectify them immediately we notice them. The price of drinks from our suppliers have been increasing frequently recently and thus we have to increase our prices to our customers. This sometimes leads to misunderstanding with customers as we have been slow in printing menus...

Pros: -Great food (Churro, Grilled fish, and fish gulash) -Cheap beer -Great chips (i.e. fries) Cons: -There are only 3-4 menu items -Food will easily take 40-50 mins to prepare, so don't go too hungry! -Eating outside...well...there's no lights and...
