Staying here for a nice as part of a tour around New Zealand. Although staying here was chosen for me, I would recommend it 100%. The couple who run this lovely floating hostel are amazing! The lady is a cook and I have never eaten so well in my life! She accommodated for my being a veggie and made fresh...

Unfortunately we did not get the larger private cabin. For over 1,90m people it's hard to sleep in cabin on floor 1. But boat, place and hosts were very nice. Host Couple overtook the bizz 9 weeks ago. Very motivated they R!! Highly recommended

This is a great place to stay if walking the Abel Tasman Track. It is run by a friendly couple who will pick you up from the beach in Anchorage Cove. Dinner was a substantial and delicious barbecue accompanied by a variety of salads. Breakfast included muesli, yoghurt, fruit, home made bread and jam. Good coffee. There is a variety...

Have only just figured out how to respond, Mark and I still got lots to learn.;) Thank you all for your reviews. Think a lot of it has to do with the people we get on board Aquapackers.....really doesn't feel like work. So a big thanks to our guests. Jane and Mark

Mark and Jane from the moment we stepped onboard were hospitable and helpful. The food was great (food allergies were catered for easily - Dairy free and vegetarian) the private rooms looked so inviting and the droms were clean and inviting. Would love to stay overnight again any time. Only warning - Bring your own alcohol none available on board

This is a unique place to stay, floating in the bay in the beautiful Abel Tasman National Park. Its a boat, so cabins are small but we stayed in the 4 bed cabin and it was comfortable and clean - lovely crisp white sheets. Dinner and breakfast are included in the price and they were great - barbecue & salads...

What a warm and welcome stay at the aquapackers! Mark and Jane picked us up from the beach and welcomed us aboard with some hot tea/coffee and banana bread. Dinner and breakfast were amazing and so extensive! We ate together with all other guests, Mark and Jane made it feel like home! The view of the national park from the...

Firstly, what a super idea - a hostel on a boat! Mark and Jane were just lovely and so welcoming. The dinner was excellent, and there was plenty of it. Lovely to sit around the brazier after for a good chat with a glass of savvy. The bunks were fine; I was impressed with the clean, good quality bedding. Cosy...

Imagine walking onto a beautiful beach, looking out to sea and waving at a boat and then someone comes to the beach in a dinghy and takes you back on board. We stayed in one of the two double bedrooms.....not sure I would have liked to stay in the bunks down below but it didn't seem to worry the dozen...

This was an incredible stay! We did a two day hike through the Abel Tasman and at the end of a long first day, this was heaven. Hot showers, amazing food (even accommodating dietary requirements), clean comfy sheets, and stunning views to boot. Unlike anything I've ever done, in the best of ways! Jane and Mark were welcoming and friendly...
