Fantastic stay, recently refurbished room was brilliant and staff couldn't have been more helpful. Great breakfast and a VERY reasonable price. My room had two sofas in a lounge area and tvs in there and in bedroom. Lovely and clean bathroom and fully stocked hospitality tray with a decent sized kettle. hairdryer and good storage space for clothing.

Arrived on Thursday 8th September 2016. Room was cleaned and topped up on Friday. We had a Wedding on the Saturday and I had my hair cut in my room. My partner offered to hoover but was told that the cleaner would be in when we went to the Wedding. It wasn't done. We had to ask for more supplies...

We have stayed in room 5 many times. This time the room had all been done out with a lovely comfortable bed and tv in the bedroom, and in the living room was 2 settee's ( I think they were sofa beds ) plus tv, tea, coffee facilities and iron and ironing board. I have left the best until last...

Stayed here overnight en route to Scotland. For the price paid it seems a bit crass to find anything to complain about. The landlady was friendly and helpful and saw to everything we asked for. The room was clean and tidy the bedsheets and towels were freshly laundered. The room itself was a little tired but perfectly adequate for our...

I has a lovely atmosphere and is in a good location. On each occasion I was in a different room and so I am able to say with confidence that this hotel...

Comfortable stay in annexe next to pub. Clean rooms, tea facilities and very nice breakfast . It would be nice to have fruit juice with breakfast . Ranch doors in our bathroom was unusual and full slide door would be better. We would return if in the area.

We stayed here last night as we were attending a wedding nearby. After a warm welcome we were shown to our room which was lovely and spacious. My mum was travelling with us and she was staying in the annexe in a single room which was nice too. We enjoyed a tasty breakfast this morning. We had a very pleasant...

We booked on line after checking on trip adviser. We were given a room above the bar. It is very noisy with the thump of a loud juke box from below. No food was available despite menus being shown. The room was tired, needs some upgrading. Not all lights worked and only a single (loose) plug socket. Small double bed...

Oh my goodness what can I say .after nearly 20 yrs in hospitality . I never thought I would write this review about anyone other than me !!!. Angela is the most welcoming and helpful hostess. We came across this little treasure following a loss in the family, A TRUE LOCAL VILLAGE PUB / b&b. Angela could not have been...

Very clean and spacious room. Pub below is very "local" but friendly. Good breakfast cooked to order. We ate dinner one night which was simple but good value. Good value for the money. Little bonus was the DVD player in the TV and a (limited) selection of DVDS on the landing. Only very minor gripe was not enough sockets to...
