We stayed at the Waggon & Horses the night before the wedding of our Niece. The reception was held at the Oak Barn Sandhole just across the road from the W&H. We were delayed on our journey but the W&H took the time to call us en route to get an ETA and kept the kitchen open to serve us...

I recently stayed here for 3 nights as my friends were getting married at the Sand Hole Oak Barn nearby. All of the staff here were incredibly helpful and friendly. It has a local pub feel, and as soon as I arrived with my friends, the welcome we received from the staff and local customers we felt like locals too....

We were in our way home to Manchester and stopped off at the 'Waggon and Horses' for a meal. A friendly pub that had a restaurant in a light and airy room away from the noise of the pub. The food was excellent...fresh, hot and plentiful. We were served by young Stacy who was an asset to the pub. We...

Go along to this friendly pub (just on the outskirts of Congleton) on a Thursday evening and have one of their pie and pea specials. All made on the premises - fabulous pastry, lots of filling. It's a midweek treat. And the beer's not bad either.

We chose this hotel as it was only a two minute walk to the venue for a friend's wedding, We enjoyed both an evening meal and a hearty breakfast in the pub both were very good with excellent service. Our room was located in a separate building, so had no disturbance from the busy pub at any time. Overall a...

We only stayed for 1 night and after a long slow journey it was a welcome site! The room was clean and homely . The en-suite was clean with ample free toiletries. We decided to eat here and what a joy it was . The waitress was very nice , our order was taken quickly, there was a limited wine...

Stayed at the caravan site overnight after going the Rewind festival. The breakfast was excellent. Hit the spot after being at the festival all day the day before. Lovely place and very handy for the festival site. Will definitely be back next year

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Delight in the beautiful Cheshire countryside at our welcoming inn. Look no further than the Waggon & Horses for a delightful pub and bed and breakfast in Cheshire. In the tiny village of Eaton lies the picture-postcard Waggon and Horses public house, ready to refresh the weary traveler with good food and ale. Be amazed at what our fine English pub has to offer. From fine cask ales, to locally sourced produce we have just what you need. We take great pride in our delicious food and at least 90% of what we serve in our restaurant is entirely home-made. It's tempting to get stuck at our warm and cosy bar with a real log fire on cold days complemented by the warm welcome of a family-run pub, but if you look that little bit further you'll see our beautiful caravan park situated at the heart of the idyllic Cheshire countryside. Not only that, we also offer clay pigeon shooting. Ideal for any day out, it is a great way to spend the day. For the summer there is a large garden overlooking open countryside, with a children's play area to allow parents to enjoy the good weather in peace! There is also ample car parking, and the front entrance is equipped with a ramp to allow wheelchair access. The restaurant serves all homemade freshly prepared food from an extensive menu, and on Sundays and Bank hoildays traditional roasts. The excellent food is accompanied by a wine list featuring both European and New World wines. We also have our own Clay Pigeon Shooting ground ,the only pub in Cheshire to do so You always get a warm welcome at the Waggon & Horses. Come and visit us and discover a home away from home.
