The property is terrible overall. Drunk people looking to start fights in the lobby (my friend almost got tackled randomly), clueless front desk, disgusting rooms with black mold in the bathroom. Tried contacting them to voice my concerns and went ignored. Luckily American Express helped me out and I didn’t pay for my stay and rightly so. Worst hotel experience in my life and would never return under any circumstance. Stay away if you want a clean hotel as this place is a total ripoff.

Arrived and given keys to a room with unmade bed, wet towels on floor, housekeeping clearly not been in. Hotel apologised, upgraded us to a suite - nice, it's our 50 wedding anniversary so all good. Out all day yesterday till 10pm. Came home to unmade bed, wet towels, deja vous. Called down, that's right they said, we only service the room every three days if you are staying that long! You have to request towels, shampoo, coffee ( supply 2 capsules at a time so be prepared to decide if you want evening or morning coffee!) This place is not cheap, quite the opposite. It was jumping last night (Saturday) with a wedding party (thump, thump, thump of loud music - loud happy people yelling their good nights at 2 am). I have little french, and Sunday morning receptionist had same competence with English. She gave me towels and coffee whilst trying to convey the hotel's policy, which she said is clear in documentation. Probably is, not looked. I just used the room fees and star rating to assume we were not in the YMCA. If you come only for the golf, you may like it here. We will not be back

We stayed at this hotel for 4 days. The room was very clean and spacious. The staff we very helpfull. WE like having a small fridge and microwave in the romm and enjoyed gaving a balcony with a nice view of the MOnt Orford mountain. WE had breewakfast one morning. The buffet was plentiful and a wide selection of choices. I played golf on the course which was in great shape and fun to play and the price was reasonable. On our last evening, we enjoyed a great meal in the restaurant. A limited menu but great food.

We have stayed here once before and that was Feb 2019. We thought it was nice didn't notice it to be dirty or anything but this time around was gross. Our first room had pee still on the toilet seat, side tables not wiped down thank god bedding was changed. Our second room had used contact lenses on the night table in plain site.... I mean if you look at the table you can see it. I know the staff are trying but this is gross, at that point because it was our last night we didn't bother complaining we cleaned it ourselves and I don't think we will be back. Either hire more cleaning staff or inspect the rooms your selves things are not being cleaned the way they should be to wipe a side table even rushed takes literally 3 seconds...

Room is not clean, missing a lot of things starting by towels, fire logs, bathrobes, glasses, etc. Old dishes in front of our door when we arrived, lots of hair in bath. Very disapointed. Not worth it.

My wife went to the Manoir to enjoy a relaxing 4 days in the fall. She arrived there and despite the fact she had a confirmation of her reservation there was no reservation upon her arrival. She had reserved a Junior Suite so they gave her an upgrade to Executive Suite. They might have done this but it was the most disgusting suite I have ever seen after seeing her photos. THERE IS NO WAY IT DESERVES A 4 STAR STATUS. It is worse than a 2 star Covid or not. The room looked like it had not been cleaned in months. Carpet very dirty, fridge condensed several inches thick and yellow color. Dust all over the place. My goodness how can they possibly charge more than $100 for this room. She stayed 4 nights and it cost almost $1,000. I really think she deserves a refund as even the tub and sinks were not clean, Can you believe it? It is very unfortunate as it is a beautiful location, and a beautiful property!

As many have said, the staff is very nice and trying their best but that could not make up for the not only dated but old and very scuffed furniture. Carpets really need to be replaced. Old school and loud air conditioner. We were not informed beforehand that the restaurant would be closed in the evening during our stay. There is no room service option, and the front desk didn’t know about any restaurants that delivered. The place was packed so maybe the golf course makes it worth it, not sure. Would not recommend - next time will stay in Magog. How this can be considered a 4 -star hotel boggles the mind.

Wish I read the 1-2 star ratings of this hotel before booking. The location is excellent, next to the national park that suited us, also the staff at the restaurant is friendly and the food is average-good. Also, we were able to open the window and listen to the rain, which was nice. Unfortunately, these are the only pros in the hotel. First of all, it is not a 4-star hotel, rather 1-star. I have had better guest experience in a student hostel. Arriving to the room was like a time travel back to 70s. Everything in the hotel, except the dining room, is old and outdated. There is no noise reduction and you can hear neighbours walking above and in the corridor and talking in the next room. Very restless environment to say the least, you need earplugs to be able to sleep. The shower did not work well. The cleaning during the second day was missed. The shower dryer is noisy, so is the air conditioner and the fridge. The remote control of the tv didn’t work. There is no water boiler in the room. The indoor pool looked old and unpleasant. There was no shoe cleaning equipment, nor safe. I paid for 4 stars, got a 1 star experience. Never back again, we rather go for camping.
