We stayed five days and sailed every day on their new Topaz Argo. Friendly and very helpful staff at the capitainerie; as the boss says « we are here to help, not to judge. I’ve made all the mistakes our clients make. ». As an intermediate sailor, alone on my sailboat, I felt very secure and looked after out on the lake !
We stayed at the adults only Auberge which gave us a respite from the hussle and bussle of the families vacationing. The Auberge is nice and calm.
We also found relexing moments on the hikes, during kayak expeditions and during sailing.
Unfortunetly, the staffing difficulties made it impossible to have our meals at the Auberge. This meant that we took our meals at the main dining room with all the families. I have nothing against children and vacationing families, we have done it numerous times ourselves, but we had hoped for more peaceful meals. Hopefully this will be resolved.

We had a wonderful 2-day getaway here. The service was excellent and the staff enthusiastic and kind. Whether you want to spend the day snowshoeing or x-country skiing or just reading a book beside the (gas) fire, Jouvence comes highly recommended. We look forward to coming back during a different season to see the beauty again. PS: Pierre has great taste in music!

Very pretty place. Which has a lake 5 min walk away. Jouvence is a big place. We stay at at la petite auberg. They have this other part to it. I believe it's individual houses for families. Those are nearer to the lake.
This hotel is cosy. Room is very clean. Simple furniture and just enough hangers for our jackets and clothes. Room has enough lights and even a ceiling fan(for summer i guess)
The people are warm, they go above and beyond to provide us with information and are always checking if you are doing ok.
Mathieu even remembered me and we met while he was on the way out to the carpark.
It is quiet at night, which was what we were looking for. Away from city noise.
The location is about 15 min drive from mont orford, but unfortunately we missed it due to the constant rainy days.
Nonetheless we might jus be back again next time! Because we are 24 hours away from canada
Oh did i mention that their breakfast lunch and dinner were all so good. Above expectation. We have fish and chicken for lunch every day. And dinner was fine dining style with enough options to get us going. Well done chef!

The à la carte suppers are ordinary, some of the rooms are quite old make sure to visit one before ( we went to the petite auberge) the skating rink was not opened on Sunday morning. The only positive aspect is the peace and quiet of the surroundings. Not worth your money .

This was my sixth visit and I have to say it has gone a bit downhill. The space is beautiful and clean. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The D"jouv only had one little bar fridge for 10 rooms. The food was the biggest disappointment. Every dish, except dessert, was bland. It used to be fantastic!

Unique, all-inclusive francophone environment with daily programming for children & adults (both separately and together) at the Centre de Villégiature. Helpful, polite staff in dining and front desk areas; extremely warm and enthusiastic counselors for children & adults; tasty, generous meals; and great facilities that are rustic but extremely comfortable. If you are French-speaking or want to help your kids polish their French and if you like the idea of a country vacation away from TV & phones, this is a GREAT choice! Excellent value with current USD. Rooms vary and if you are in a building with many rooms, you are at the mercy of your neighbors due to minimal sound-proofing (luckily our noisy neighbors left mid-week). Worth staying Friday-Friday if you can since the programming runs on that schedule and you get the whole "imaginary world" theme that way. My only suggestion would be to identify vegetarian dishes as such in the dining hall - I often had to ask a staff member to go ask the chef about a soup's ingredients, etc.

We have been to Jouvence for our Christmas party and we have enjoyed our stay there. The resort is part of the Orford National park located next to the Stukely lake. It has 125 rooms that are in small bungalows. The number of rooms vary from bungalows to another depending of your needs. For example, our had 6 rooms in it. In the bungalow there is a common living room with a nice fireplace, a refrigerator and a microwave. Rooms are pretty simple, we didn't like them since there was no sign of any decoration not even a TV. Maybe it is to enhance the contact with nature? The placement is really nice thought, since its located near a lake so during summer you can enjoy the beach, some kayaking and hiking trough the mountain. During winter, you can go skiing since skiing sites are close, also Nordic trails or snow racket trails. There is a lot of place to enjoy some time in family or bigger groups. The hotel offers all inclusive stays that includes a brunch and dinner, juices included, but for any other type of drinks you have to pay. The service is really nice and the staff is friendly. Everyone we talked to were perfectly bilingual, but all the signs and publications in the resort were in French. They should put them in both languages in order to promote the place. Prices are affordable, for kids it varies from 52$ to 97$, for adults it starts at 99$ to 154$ all depending on the season. Overall, we really liked our stay there and we do recommend it.

We spent 4 nights at Jouvence this past week and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
The best parts of Jouvence are the animators who lead a camp for a few days for the kids, and are hilarious, zany and generally perfect for adventurous children. This frees up a few hours per day for Mom and Dad to get in some swimming in the beautiful lake, sailing, mountain biking in the woods, or whatever activity you enjoy.
The food was delicious.
On the downside, we felt that the accommodations were rather dark, but clean. We didn't end up spending much time in the cabin anyways. As well, it is rather expensive, but considering the top-notch family fun and delicious food, in a Provincial park, I felt it was worth it.
Also, very few people spoke English there, which was great for us, as we practised our French, but might be intimidating if you don't speak much French. The other clients were very friendly.

KInd personnel, comfortable, simple lodgings
However, food rather toxic and invariable: sausages, fried chips, absence of food for non-meat eaters
Salads always contained vinegar, which rendered them sometimes impossible to eat
Desserts always the same: cakes and fruit salad. And ice cream for the kids, which rendered them addicted to sugary stuff

My daughter's hockey team stayed here for the provincial championship tournament in Sherbrooke, and it was an incredible experience. The setup was perfect - the girls had plenty of space to roam and have fun at our chalet without the parents having to worry about disrupting other families onsite, who were simply not within earshot.
Further, the space we had in our rooms was far more than what we would have had in a regular hotel. The abundance of common space and the ropes course in the forest led to a priceless weekend of bonding and fun for the team and their families.
Most importantly - the meal setup was fantastic. There was a buffet meal for us scheduled according to the team's game times, which were constantly in flux. The staff adjusted to our needs with grace, never seeming put out by the complexities. This was a godsend - mealtime is generally the biggest problem for a team during a tournament, but it was all taken care of for us. And the food was great, no fast food - even some great duck was available for dinner one night!
If I have any influence on the decision, any team my kids are involved with will check with Jouvence first any time we have a tournament in the Sherbrooke area again. The 25 minute drive is well worth it.
