We took advantage of a 5pm.com offer for dinner, bed and breakfast here. The situation of the hotel is gorgeous with views over Loch Melfort to Jura,Islay and several small islands. Lovely room, comfy bed, great food and such delightful staff. We will be back.

We had a fabulous stay at this hotel for a 3 night family Hogmany celebration. The hotel, staff and food were faultless. The location is absolutely stunning with clear views out to sea. All 3 generations of our family had a lovely relaxing stay. We travelled with grandparents and children age 7,4 and 1 and our pet dogs. Everyone enjoyed...

A fantastic rural hotel, with spectacular views towards the islands . We had an upper room in the cedar wing which was spotless, warm and made even consider by the mohair throws provided. We were lucky with the January weather as we were able to sit out on the large balcony most nights . The food was of first class...

We stayed in the hotel over Christmas. The staff are exceptionally friendly but professional and go to great lengths to create a very relaxed ambience in this wonderful location, with stunning views from bedrooms and dining room. The food is excellent. The peaty water I felt adds additional charm and is a reminder that the hotel is in a remote...

Always stop in here for lunch every time we are visiting the area it has amazing views & amazing food I'm sure you wouldn't be disappointed as there is something to suit everyone. The lovely arduaine gardens are well worth a visit from a path that runs down by the side of the hotel.

We had an incredible stay at the Loch Melfort House Hotel. We arrived in the pitch black and driving rain, after a trip to Oban Distillery. On arriving at the hotel it reminded me of the chalets in the film Dirty Dancing,to the right was the main house, which looked very welcoming and picturesque. At first I was a little...

My husband and I enjoyed a one night stay at this hotel in what must be one of the best settings in Scotland. The room is lovely, comfortable, spacious and cosy. The food is excellent with beautiful locally sourced ingredients. The view in the hotel is amazing, from the balcony in our cedar wing room, from the restaurant and from...

We have just came back from a 2 break at the Loch Melfort Hotel. The hotel is set in a beautiful part of Scotland with stunning views of the Loch. The main building is impressive but as previous reviewers have said the annex does look like a Motel from the sixties. Our room was a 'Superior' room which from what...

Lovely time at the Loch Melfort Hotel, only stayed for one night but would have stayed longer. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful, room was very comfortable and warm. All rooms have amazing view, we were upstairs and loved having the balcony despite the colder weather. Dinner was excellent, and sitting in the restaurant and lounge was calm...

Second visit to this lovely hotel. The setting is beautiful, the food fresh, well prepared and presented but the friendly and professional attitude of all staff made our stay so enjoyable. Great selection of gin also a bonus. We will be back..
