Lovely hotel booked via an itison voucher, greeted with stunning views, brilliant and friendly staff that were happy to chat and offer guidance on what to do in the area, and a tour of the hotel social and dining areas. The room (cedar wing) was lovely, you'd need little more in it for a walking trip, and it had an...

We stayed in the cedar wing which was a relatively basic hotel room with uninspiring decor, but comfortable nonetheless. The bathroom was very basic and probably the biggest let-down of the room (verging on 2 star standard). Overall it is what you would expect from a 3 star hotel, with the balcony and sea view really being the feature that...

Booked this hotel as it says it's dog friendly. Found out on arrival that dogs are only allowed in your room when you are in attendance. When you go out of the room you must put the dog into the BOOT OF YOUR CAR. Not just the car but the boot..... This is far too restrictive had dinner in the...

My girlfriend and I both live in glasgow and really wanted to have a weekend away to relax and let the dog enjoy some nice walks in the countryside. This was the perfect place to do such a thing. Soon as we entered our warm and cosy room we were greeted with the most breathtaking views. The weather held up...

Stopped here for a coffee during our touring break in Scotland, great scenery from restaurant even though it was raining and the coffee was good too. Would like to return here for an overnight or two who knows we might manage to do that thus year.

We took advantage of a 5pm.com offer for dinner, bed and breakfast here. The situation of the hotel is gorgeous with views over Loch Melfort to Jura,Islay and several small islands. Lovely room, comfy bed, great food and such delightful staff. We will be back.

We had a fabulous stay at this hotel for a 3 night family Hogmany celebration. The hotel, staff and food were faultless. The location is absolutely stunning with clear views out to sea. All 3 generations of our family had a lovely relaxing stay. We travelled with grandparents and children age 7,4 and 1 and our pet dogs. Everyone enjoyed...

A fantastic rural hotel, with spectacular views towards the islands . We had an upper room in the cedar wing which was spotless, warm and made even consider by the mohair throws provided. We were lucky with the January weather as we were able to sit out on the large balcony most nights . The food was of first class...

We stayed in the hotel over Christmas. The staff are exceptionally friendly but professional and go to great lengths to create a very relaxed ambience in this wonderful location, with stunning views from bedrooms and dining room. The food is excellent. The peaty water I felt adds additional charm and is a reminder that the hotel is in a remote...

Always stop in here for lunch every time we are visiting the area it has amazing views & amazing food I'm sure you wouldn't be disappointed as there is something to suit everyone. The lovely arduaine gardens are well worth a visit from a path that runs down by the side of the hotel.
