We had a lovely relaxing week here in March. The weather was not great but it didn't matter. The cottage was warm and comfortable, a cosy retreat to return to after a day out and about. The resort is very dog friendly and there are lots of good walks in the area. The Shower of Herring restaurant was great value...

Had a wonderful stay over Christmas. Made even more special by being able to have our dog's with us. Lovely place. Great walks. Enjoyed the pool. Accommodation second to none. Hope to come back again soon. Looking forward to trying the restaurant next time.

My wife and I came across Melfort Village a few years ago. It is quite unlike any other timeshare we've ever been to or seen come to that. The Village was built on the site of an old gunpowder factory. It wasn't a factory in the current sense, but a collection of buildings spread out across the acreage and even...

We stayed in the weigh bridge cottage, it was clean well equipped, if I had a complaint it would be the bathroom the space between the toilet wall and bath was tight for a larger person. Or someone disabled like me. That being said I would visit the village again the staff are great as too are the facilities. Well...

As usual, the time spent at Melfort recharges the batteries, relieves the stresses of life for a short while and allows you to really relax. With the Shower of Herring open again under new ownership, it is just perfect for a week away.

This was my first visit to Melfort Village in over 20 years, my family having enjoyed a timeshare there from the very early days to the mid-nineties. We lost my Mother last year, and she adored Melfort, so this visit was resonant with nostalgia, happy family memories, cheerful ghosts around every corner. Everything that I remember being great about Melfort...
