We have just returned from another perfect stay at Tynewydd. Penny is a wonderful host, the rooms are immaculate and nothing is too much trouble. Penny's scones are simply the best! The location provides a tranquil base where you can return after an exhausting day exploring the surrounding area and breakfast is always cooked to perfection. Thank you Penny! Our...

My brother and I stayed here whist visiting our mother in hospital. We really needed a relaxing friendly stay and that's just what we got. Penny is a great hostess and really made us feel at home. Highly recommended. There are lovely places to visit. The lime kilns and quarries are a find. Beautiful walks and of course the M4...

In a quiet location, this B & B suited our needs very well. Penny always greeted us warmly with the offer of a cup of tea, even if it was late at night. She was polite and courteous and did not overwhelm us with constant chatter (as we have experienced with other B & B owners) We sat by the...

I thought it was excellent. Couldn't be better. From being offered a cup of tea when I came in to the offer of a plate for my takeaway. Also they recycle everything (which I like - penny does it so don't worry if you can't work it out). Amazing. Also beds very comfy. It was so good that I had...

Penny has the personality that has created and presents a clean, homely, friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The beds are really comfortable and with the position of the property, on a cul-de-sac, you are assured of a good nights sleep. There is off road parking and as you walk through the door a cup of tea is offered - great! The...

Comfortable beds, lovely breakfast at a time we wanted it. Penny was very friendly and most welcoming. She even lit the fire in the guests living room when we arrived so we could sit and recover from our journey. Recommended.

I stayed here for 5 days while visiting friends and the ancient sites of southwest Wales. This was the perfect place to stay. Penny was a great host and the location was excellent. It's a very quiet location right off the A48 and close to the Gower and southwest Wales. I slept great and woke to an excellent breakfast. If...

We recently stayed with Penny at Tynewydd and really cannot praise her enough. Our room was spotless, as were all of the facilities, Tynewydd felt homely and welcoming. Breakfast was both plentiful and tasty, with even our son's craving for cheese on toast being patiently catered for, we were even lucky enough to sample Penny's homemade scones which were delicious!....
