Chateau La Mothaye is such an amazing property. The host family is equally amazing. Our entire stay was relaxing and very enjoying while escaping the hustle and bustle of Paris. The breakfast was large and delicious. They have a self serve refrigerator full of beer and wine anytime you'd like a drink. The pool is refreshing and the place is...

Just back from a 9 night stay at Chateau La Mothaye - the top floor suite was huge, spotless and the kids loved it - has everything you could need (dishwasher, fridge freezer, coffee maker, good quality pots, pans utensils etc), the time flew by. The grounds are just as stunning as the house itself, guests are free to roam,...

From the beautiful, well kept grounds to our spacious room overlooking a field of soon to be blooming sunflowers, our visit was delightful. The Chateau is beautifully appointed and welcoming. It is set on 40+ acres, offering a great place to take leisurely walks in a country setting. On the grounds is a pretty chapel dating to 1732 which is...

This is a lovely chateau operated as a Bed & Breakfast by a family from Belgium. We were there very early in the season at the beginning of March. We traveled from the USA with our teenage daughters & stayed in the family room on the top floor. Although we had the same entrance hall & shared a bathroom, our...

Chateau La Mothaye was, without a doubt, the highlight of our trip to Europe. The room and chateau was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and beautifully decorated, the chateau was gorgeous throughout, stylish and so homely, breakfast was delicious. Our hosts Erik, Rochele and family were amazing, they just couldn't do enough for us to ensure we had the most wonderful...

Our four days in this classic French chateau were the highlight of our three-week European trip. Eric and Rochelle was amazing hosts, our rooms were delightful and the breakfast absolutely first-class. We enjoyed the tranquility of the chateau as well as its closeness to fantastic Loire Valley sights. But the best part of our stay was enjoying our own Loire...

We first met Erik when he carried our familiy's three large bags up two flights of stairs upon our unavoidably late arrival after an exhausting trip from Los Angeles. He and his family gave us the same welcoming and superlative experience throughout our stay. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was delicious and hearty for "continental"...

We had two nights in this beautiful and friendly chateau as we made our way to the south of France. Our Dutch host Erik and his lovely family made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was plentiful and included the traditional Dutch chocolate sprinkles. The suite of rooms we had were spacious and comfortable, and included a luxury claw foot bath....

My wife and two kids (9 and 13 years old) stayed in the luxury suite: Suite Calville d'août. A very spacious (my etsimate is that it is around 100 m2), comfortable and castle like suite. This suite looks brandnew with love for authentic details. For kids a separate sleepingroom, kitchen with lots of space and household electronics (Jan des Bouvrie...
