The owners of this quant B&B, Luigi, Giuseppe, and Elisa couldn't have been more gracious to us. They all went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. From reuniting us with family, to finding the perfect handmade jewelry with Roberto and taking us to find tombola, and even helping me find (DELICIOUS) food to appease a gluten allergy, we...

We keep warm memories of our one night stay in La Rua in Pescocostanzo. The hosts were so hospitable and helfpful in planning our further trip (even though we did not speak Italian, we managed to communicate well!) we felt at home immediately. Clean room, spatious bathroom, cosy fire place to have a drink or breakfast. Breakfast was lovely with...

This hotel is comfortable, clean and attractive but the best thing about it is the hosts. Luigi, Guisseppe, and Lisa are extraordinary. We arrived off the bus mid afternoon, and Pescocostanza was deserted. This is traditional Italy so everyone has long, late lunches then a rest with the shutters closed. We set off dragging our wheeled suitcases behind us making...

Very clean, small hotel with nice rooms - ours had amazing views. The location is great, a short walk to the town central piazza, and our hosts were fantastic. We arrived after dark in a snowstorm, and after driving around lost the owner set out in his car to come find us - now that's service! Great breakfast and all...

This was my second trip to Abruzzo. Both times I stayed in Pescocostanzo, and both times I stayed at La Rua. Abruzzo is simply beautiful. Driving from place to place is a vacation in itself. In all this beauty, the most beautiful and striking town I visited was Pescocostanzo. The town square, the side streets, the church, the homes, the...

Located only seconds from the main square in Pescocostanzo and within easy walking distance of all the shops, restaurants and sites, this B & B is clean, comfortable, and run by two of the friendliest proprietors in the world: Luigi and Giuseppe, who will take the time (albeit in broken English) to guide you around the town, get one of...

We spent four nights in this hotel in July 2015. The place is very quiet, situated just 1 min walking from the main piazza in Pescocostanzo. Our stay was made pleasant by a friendly and kind service of the brothers owning the hotel - even with respect to Italian standards. The breakfasts served are magnificent. The location is simply the...

We really enjoyed our brief stay in Pescocostanzo. The town/village is completely authentic, beautiful and peaceful. It has a great restaurant. The rooms are comfortable and spotless, and I second the comments about the hosts, Luigi, Guiseppe and Elisa; such great hosts, and you really get the feeling that you have friends for life. The guys are very knowledgeable about...

This was my second stay at La Rua and it was excellent AGAIN. The location is great, the room and bathroom are spotlessly clean, and the reception area with the fireplace is a super cozy place to hang out for a chat with Luigi, Giuseppe and Elisa. Elisa's breakfast treats are just as delicious as everyone says and for the...

My husband's family is from Pescocostanzo and we visit this charming town every 3 or 4 years and ALWAYS stay at La Rua. Luigi, Guiseppe, and Elisa, the brothers-and sister team who run this little B&B are wonderful warm people and have always made us feel very welcome and special. We have always been given the same room and it...
