When we arrived at the Hotel we were welcomed by Brian and Arlene who were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, warm and very comfortable. The food was excellent and the whole atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. Our hosts gave us good advice where to visit and directions to the interesting sites in the area. Would definitely recommend...

This is the first hotel ever where I got to the room, peeked inside, turned around and ran away. Room was dirty, depressing, bathroom molded and something sticky was on the doorposts. The restaurant part of the hotel has been closed a long time ago and adds to the eery atmosphere of the place. The pictures used in adverts are...

Ok there's no getting away from it, this place is cheap and cheerful. I can't imagine why anyone would stay for a proper holiday but for family visits or quick overnight stays this is actually fine. I paid £30 for 1 night B&B now where can you get that? I had booked a single room but was allocated a double...

My sister and I recently spent a night at this hotel before boarding a cruise ship the next morning. It is in a very good location for transport as it is directly opposite Hadrian Road metro station. The hotel also has a large car park. When we exited the station and was facing the hotel we could see two signs,...

Awful. Feel free to put the radiator on to warm the room up? Only warm water. Not cheap to stay. Signs at reception warning that you will have to pay,if you smash the rooms up. I assume that's for the football supporters. Maybe when you check out the staff could ask if you had a nice stay? Won't stay again..........

I booked this hotel Bed and Breakfast. We went for breakfast at 8.30. We were told to help ourselves to cereal/ juice. We were given toast and a small cup of cold coffee. The staff then disappeared. We waited almost an hour for a cooked breakfast that did not arrive. £57 for a cereal and toast is ridiculous. I wont...

A thoroughly nice room with thumping good radiator and bath, much appreciated arriving one cold October day on a cycling trek. Relaxed bar and decent delivery food evening option. Also very convenient is a Metro station literally just across the road. Great cyclepath to/from Newcastle central along the Quayside. Closer still is an historic bit of Hadrian's wall at the...

We stayed at the Hadrian Lodge on 24 Oct for the Wear Tyne derby. The room was functional with adequate plug sockets and a nice touch was the tea, coffee and biscuits provided. The bedding and towels were clean and the shower worked well. The continental breakfast was decent with plenty of coffee provided. The staff were excellent, extremely helpful...
