Tim and Claire have created a tranquil retreat in a scenic off the beaten path part of Spain. Birdsong, wildflowers and rolling hills covered in olive groves surround you. While hiking, birding, and other natural pursuits are at your doorstep it is only an hour and half drive to Cordoba or Granada. As the location is a quiet escape from...

The setting is magical. Facilities excellent. Tim and Claire were very attentive and helpful in guiding us around local restaurants, walks and places to see. I would strongly recommend Casa Olea for a relaxing break.

This was our fourth trip to Casa Olea and we enjoyed it as much as the others if not more. We rarely if ever revisit a hotel as somehow they do not match up to the first trip but this place is different. It is so relaxing, the food is so good, there are so many places to visit and...

We visited in April and it was lovely weather. We were greeted by Tim who was very helpful in giving us recommendations on where to hike, eat, and visit. We are not really hikers but decided based on his recommendation to hike in Zuheros and glad we did! Tim and Claire were very friendly and it was easy to make...

My girlfriend and I spent the last night of a one week Andalucia road trip at Casa Olea, and we were glad we did. It was peaceful bliss!! Exceeded our expectations in every way. Thank you to Tim and Claire for creating such a place.

Tim and Claire have converted this old cortijo into a lovely hotel with fantastic views from the rooms and terrace. It is isolated and very quiet, set amidst the olive groves that abound in this area - there are many walks/cycling routes either straight from the hotel or a short drive away. Tim has written detailed instructions for several walks...

I am not sure if this is our fifth or sixth visit which in itself tells you everything you need to know. It has been fascinating to watch the business develop through the arrival of Max and how Tim and Claire manage their own "space" but still maintain such an amazing level of service. If you love Andalusia, love good...

Tim and Claire are wonderful hosts, and fantastic contacts for exploring the area. We were able to hike the nearby hills, and explore small towns in the area. Tim arranged personal tours of many of the local sites.. Easy driving distance from Seville. Also it was an easy drive to the other great UNESCO sites in the area, Cordoba and...

Tim and Claire and the staff share the love and a wealth of knowledge of the area in a beautifully restored farmhouse that is the perfect place to relax and use as a base for discovering and enjoying Andalusia. Both Tim and Claire know the history, culture and the area well and can guide you to experiencing whatever is your...

Cannot say enough good things about our visit to Casa Olea. Tim and Claire, the owners, are wonderful hosts. Both have lengthy experience in the hospitality field and it shows. Casa Olea is well-appointed, with lovely large bedrooms and good-sized bathrooms, all spotlessly clean. There is a relaxing living room with wood-burning fireplace (good for those cooler March nights). The...
