I don't think I can stay anywhere else on the coast after staying here. Just wow! Beautiful property, excellent rooms with good AC, a very deep pool, perfect location on the beach, and great food. Above all though, the service was outstanding. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. In spite of being fully booked, the hotel never felt crowded. They've spaced everything out perfectly. You also get free use of all the watersports equipment. I'll definitely be back!

The rooms are your little paradise on the beach - beautiful spacious balconies right outside your bedroom, very private with a view to the beach. The staff give you a very personal touch and make you feel like a personal guest of the resort rather than a number going through a queue! If you want a relaxing, caring experience by the beach, just stay at Sands at Nomad!! I enjoy eating at the Nomads except for this Friday night. I was served a smelly stale 'sashimi mix'. The supervisor said he will speak to the chef tomorrow. I saw the chef sitting on another table, still in his uniform, drinking beer with friends. Since curfew time was approaching, I couldn't order anything else..For me, the most unprofessional night ever. Stay alert on those raw meals.

Stayed for 4 nights as they have an offer of stay4pay3 with unlimited spa massage for residents in Kenya. I have been to Diani many times and to the restaurant at the Sands but it was my first time to stay at the hotel. After reading excellent reviews, booked a Seabreeze room in the last minute. Room quality - average, but overpriced for the basic room. You can hear voices and noise from rooms next door. Pool - much smaller than it looks in pics. Sunbeds - from the hotel's pics, I had thought that I could use sunbeds in spacious lawn beachfront. NO, those are not available for guests staying at the Seabreeze. I was only allowed to use sunbeds in a particular section, and none of those sunbeds had roof/shade during my stay! What a shame. So I had no option but staying poolside. Unlimited spa massage - nobody told me how this works when I checked in. my second morning, on my way to breakfast around at 7:30 (for diving afterwards), I asked a lady at the reception about a spa. She told me to directly go to the spa, which opens at 10 am. When I managed to go to the spa at around 2 pm after the diving, I was told that day was already fully booked. After all, I had one spa menu only as the spa is very busy with guests even from outside the hotel. Staff - one night when I was walking from the restaurant, a night security guy showed up from somewhere and escorted me to my room. Then he asked my mobile number. As a solo female guest, I didn't feel good nor safe by being behaved like that. Covid measure - staff were not wearing face masks properly. Some were on their chin. Some removed it when they spoke. And I was so surprised that they serve buffet breakfast as it is a normal time. In a hotel I stayed in Watamu in Sep, guests were not allowed to take food from the buffet by ourselves, as it is commonly known that sharing spoon etc for the buffet is high-risk of spreading the disease!

Dear NyaHara, I would like to thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your most recent stay with us. I am sorry to learn that some of your experiences did not align with your expectations. Regarding the Sunbeds, we do have a special section for the Seabreeze rooms right in front of the ocean, and around the pool. Our SPA is open every day from 10am to 7pm and we have several therapists able to accommodate many different requests. I am really sorry you had experienced so many difficulties as our guests always have the priority. Regarding Covid, we are very careful, and we have a very high standard procedure in place. We feel very sorry that you didn't have the same feeling but rest assure we are on top of it making sure that all our strong procedures are perfectly followed. Yes, we do have a small buffet with a dedicated staff to serve you. Please accept my sincerest apologies for those inconveniences and rest assured that all the points you have raised have carefully been noted to continue to improve our service. Thank you for your constructive and valuable feedback. We hope for the opportunity to welcome you back again in the near future. your sincerely,

Our paradise! We spent six days in this fabulous and charming place... Stunning accommodations in a beautiful wide white beach surrounded by vivid green vegetation. Waking up in the morning in front of a colorful sea, trips by boat, snorkeling, good food (our favorite: pizza and feta cheese samosas!) a great boutique and the excellent service from the staff in every single detail. A big “Thank you” to Giulia and Luca. They made our holiday unforgettable! Kindness, attention to the customer, always available to help and to give us the best tips to visit the place. Without them it wouldn’t have been the same! Anna Barbara and Roland
