First rate all inclusive. We stayed 6 nights. Didn’t get tired of the food in 4 restaurants...in other words-quite good. Spa was first rate. Grounds are beautiful and staff very well trained and attentive. Pools are beautiful clean.grounds immaculate and nothing was in disrepair. I really need to give this my highest rating ... and we travel a lot!!

The resort was lovely, and we had a really nice room. the staff were all very friendly and helpful, the only thing that got to me because i am a type 1 diabetic the whole resort did not have diet coke or diet Pepsi which is frustrating being a 5 star resort but they managed to get a diet coke the last night of our stay.

I stayed with my family at Swahili beach for 3 nights in early January. It was my 3rd time on the property. As always the property is very beautiful. The swimming pool was not clean and the water was full of particles and contaminants. Probably because it was quite busy and not cleaned properly... That was not the worst part of my stay. What really bothered me was the service. A drink would take 45mins to come. Even at the counter of the bar down by the beach we’d have to ask 4 times to get our drinks. The food orders was even worse. On one day we ordered pizzas and they took literally 1 hour and 20mins to come even though the kitchen is right there... I’ve never seen this from a hotel of that kind and it was rather disappointing. I spoke to a few other guests during my stay and I was not the only one complaining. Food was decent. The issue was the service. It was absolutely terrible. I’m not sure if they fired all the old staff and replaced them with less qualified (cheaper ones) or what... Very unfortunate.

It was back in April 2017 and I had just found the love of my life. So we packed our bags and headed down to Swahili Beach in Diani. When we got to the resort the team welcomed us with a beautiful cocktail, took our bags, and checked us into room 69 yes room "sixty-nine". The team organized for a surprise and I proposed. My girlfriend said YES and here we are. It's 4 years down and we went back to Swahili Beach for lunch in November 2020 with our two-year-old son. I will definitely be back for a bit longer for the good hospitality and awesome seafood pizza. What I love most about Swahili Beach is amazing hospitality, beautiful food at Barharini, the luxurious stone curved bath tub, comfortable beds, and the endless child-friendly infinity pool.

As a long term customer of the establishment it is always a delight and pleasure to visit with the premise. Part of rest and relaxation is to enjoy good food, good alcohol and good music all within reasonable boundaries. In order to comply with rules and regulations i would propose that if portable speakers are not allowed this should be clearly indicated in correspondence prior to check in . I do not appreciate having back on forth with an employee over what is and is not allowed yet it is not in fine print its retrogressive and intrusive and damages the overall experience. There are better ways to communicate set policy but verbal back and forths are not it. Mutual respect between customer and establishments are key. Aside from this one gentleman Alex the rest of the staff dealt with Albert, Vivienne and especially Bar staff led by Peter, Silas and Chris at Baharini are exceptional, polite and charming.

Salaams, Thank You for taking time to write a review on your stay at Swahili Beach Resort. I am glad to note that you are having a great time at the resort. Thank you for appreciating what we offer and the environment within which we offer it. The comfort and enjoyment of our guests is of paramount to us. I take note of the incident you mention regarding music from individual guest speakers. You and I have discussed this and agree that how we communicate our rules is more important than the zeal to enforce them. I am glad that this incident has not taken away from the enjoyable time you are having. We appreciate your continued custom and look forward to hosting you many more times. With my best regards, Jeff Mukolwe General Manager
