Hi sorry for the late response, only just back from Tsilivi and was about to leave a review. Myself and my husband stayed at hotel callinca in front of zante callinca (gets confusing!) My mum stayed here at zante callinca and yes the pool is very shaded and shallow with a huge palm tree island type thing in the middle of it! We visited the pool here with my mum but the water was freezing and not deep.. I'm about 5ft 5 and probably could have stood up all the way round.
At the hotel callinca the pool is much warmer/deeper, half the staff are Scottish and there's much more room round the pool. Guests from zante callinca came everyday to use our pool and there is a sign saying pool open to all.
Hope this helps!
