This was my first solo venture and I enjoyed every minute. I picked Fzeen as it has daily exercise and yoga classes that you can pick and choose from. The yoga and gym instructors were excellent. Also one of the most equipped gyms I’ve seen in a hotel. The gyms, yoga and meditation decks had wonderful sea views. I didn’t use them but there was also tennis courts and a golf driving range. SUP boards, kayaks and bicycles I was a bit worried about being on my own but the staff were wonderful and at no point was i stuck out of the way on a rubbish table. The place is drowning in pleasant attentive staff. There are plenty of sun-loungers and never a problem getting one. Bizarrely my favourite aspect was the availability of cold water all over the place. Bottles in the room and gum fridge replenished frequently. Both by the pool and on the beach people appeared with cold water and ice which was topped up frequently. You’ll never dehydrate here! I had a massage which was superb. If you don’t want to eat in the hotel there are a few restaurants and bars near by - I tried a few and never had a bad meal. I even found a small bar which has over 100 different beers! Although I have to say the barman at Fzeen made some excellent cocktails! You can watch a film in the outdoor cinema in the evening The hotel is on a very steep hill but it’s manageable. The whole area is beautiful, with wonderful views and very quiet. If your after a relaxing holiday- this is the place. I’ll definitely be returning!!

I have just returned from a week that was that very rare thing…..a break that was better than I expected. It helped that the weather was perfect - unusual for mid October apparently - but I LOVED F Zeen and hope to go back. I went alone in need of a rest - and also keen to do yoga - and it turned out to be perfect for both. I could dip in and out of classes, early morning hikes, swimming in the sea and taking a SUP out - all as I liked, with late minute booking for classes no problem, and I could retreat to my spacious room with an outdoor terrace whenever I felt like it too. Eating alone is sometimes not enjoyable, but here I felt quite comfortable in the only restaurant open in the evenings, and the restaurant staff are excellent - striking a great balance between being friendly and attentive but also giving you space. My one quibble would be the slightly limited and expensive menu - for food and drinks - but since it was close to the end of the season, which I assume is why the more casual second restaurant was shut at night, and the food quality was very good - I forgave it. Also, had I really wanted to avoid the restaurant I could have stocked my own fridge with food from the local shop and there was a kettle and coffee machine in the room too. I wanted to try aerial yoga and that was a treat! It’s quite rare to offer that and both yoga teachers were very good and the yoga venues - especially one - so scenic and beautiful. I liked the sporty, casual atmosphere - it’s okay to turn up for the (excellent) included breakfast in your exercise gear. And there was an interesting mix of seriously sporty people and those with a more relaxed approach. I do wonder if the feeling of utter peace changes in high season if you had to jostle for somewhere to sit or to get into a class, but I’m sure things run rather differently with more spaces open and more staff when it’s busy. For me this week was all that I hoped, and more…..thank you FZeen !

Amazing place with extremely attentive staff. The food was faultless and cooked to a very high standard. The overall feel of the place is very relaxing and I would recommend to anyone who is quite active as there is plenty of classes to enjoy but also plenty of places to relax by the various pools / loungers / private beach area.

A beautiful spot close to a quaint village and seafront with a variety of tavernas. Stunning views from a gorgeous room. Such a comfortable bed. Delicious breakfasts and equally fabulous dinner. Most staff could not do enough to make the stay memorable. A very good range of classes and activities.

The hotel is unobtrusively set into the hillside and the grounds are cleverly designed - and beautifully planted - to give a peaceful ambience. Filtered (i.e.drinkable) tap water is a very nice touch.

Had a lovely week at F Zeen, but sadly the food let’s it down. Breakfast was very small, just three small trays of cold meat, two cake/muffin options and the hot menu is very limited. We had breakfast twice from the cooked menu and just didn’t return. Poached eggs were solid, bacon shattered it was so dry/crispy. The main restaurant Selini in the evening is also very hit and miss. Food is a big part of enjoying a holiday for us and it was just average, nothing to look forward to. However the hotel is lovely. The location is beautiful and The staff are simply FANTASTIC. We travel a lot and I can say they are on a par with the Maldives resorts.. It’s just a shame that they are almost let down by the last piece … the food.

Very nice hotel and well kept. Relaxing stay. Staff were also very attentive and helpful. However. Stayed in Suite 113. For the price paid expected MUCH better. The "double" bed provided was two singles pushed together. This is unacceptable for the high price paid. Also uncomfortable as there is a dip in the middle! We raised with reception but they didn't seem to understand- simply sent someone over to check the beds. The website also states 'turn down' service; we never experienced this. Pools are lovely but the jacuzzis did not work in most of them. Again, raised with reception but nothing was done about this. On the beach, you are expected to 'book' use of the 'water toys'. I'd understand if these were constantly used but they were hardly used! There is also no way to book with the room tablet despite reception telling you this. All in all lovely stay, however, not worth the expense. Other hotels such as Emelisse in Fiskardo provide much better overall experience. Sorry.

We paid over £300 B&B for entry level rooms but as someone else has commented the garden rooms are like backpacker hostels in Bali. We didn't spend time in the room and didn't enjoy sleeping or waking up there. So overpriced which ruins the hotel. Location lovely and beautiful views, the food is ok but not outstanding. The classes I did were good and we were able to borrow kayaks and paddle around to a private beach which was lovely. Weren't allowed to borrow the hotel bikes, these were only for people who wanted to play tennis, so we paid 20 euros to play "tennis" so that we could use the bikes - so silly. Welcome drink? Not so much, some ginger lemonade. Why not ask the guest what they want and/or go wild and offer a beer or wine. The icing on the cake was a staff member approaching us on the beach to say reception was looking for us as it was time to check out. At 11.10. Never before have I been asked to check out by the beach attendant, hotel knew our cab was coming at 12 anyway and the garden room level was not booked for that night, so no real need to chuck us out at 11.10. No presence of any management or front of house person, it feels like it is hanging on by a thread, resting on laurels of the beach location and a few friendly and warm staff. But for £1,000 for 3 nights there are better places. And where you are not invited to leave ten minutes after check out.

Excellent room with fabulous view of the sea. Facilities provided were perfect, the pools, loungers, towels were fantastic. The staff could not do enough to make the stay wonderful. The food was high quality as was the variety on offer. The classes were varied enough to provide for all levels and the spa/wellness treatments were great. The best massage I’ve had in years!
