Starting point: Receptionist very rude. The facilities are in a bad shape, it's very outdated and it needs a refurbishing as soon as possible. The hidden compulsory charge of 18 euros is just ridiculous considering that you have to take outside the rubbish yourself. The bed was a piece of concrete, I think that sleeping on the floor would have...

Just had a nice stay here. Firstly let me say Serena on the front desk couldn't be more helpful, both before we arrived and when we were there. The complex is nice, although mostly closed in May as is the low season, so no restaurant or bar on site. The room we had, no 3582 (third floor) was fine, although...

My friend from Florence planned this trip and we stayed at Villaggio Ploner for three nights after Christmas, 2015. I'm not at all familiar with the Dolomites, so this is a review from the point of view of a first timer. Village Ploner was a great place to stay, and it was just a short drive (20-30 kilometers) to the...

The location is fantastic : it seems to breath the Alps. In 30 minutes you can be in Dobbiaco and the Pusteria valley or in Cortina and Ampezzo Valley or in Misurina and see its wonderful lake and walk just under the "Tre Cime Lavaredo". The residence is very nice and we had very good food at the restaurant. We'll...

We come here since 15 years and we will do for the next 15. If you love outdoor sports in winter and summer this is the place. Trekking paths, cross country skiing tracks and mountain bike itineraries start at the door of the residence. And you are literally in the heart of the Dolomites. The building is an old Austrian...
