I've stayed at this hotel for one night. The hotel location is on our skirts of Ahmedabad and very near to the industrial location called Changodar (on Sarkhej Bawla highway). Very nicely maintained property and a very good business hotel. Has got good rooms with all facilities and clean bathrooms. It has its own restaurant which serves good variety and quality of food. Staff is helpful.

We stayed for 30 days at a unit in changodar, daily routine was; bringing lunch pack from Pearl of Heaven. Almost same dishes, same contents and tasteless punjabi food served daily. This was monotonous and boring to eat same range of food everyday. People may not agree with me, but at least there should be a weekly plan for dishes.

Good hotel to stay in the Changodar area on Sarkhej Bawla Road. The overall property is well maintained. The staff extremely courteous. The hotel provides pick-up / drop facility for guests visiting companies nearby on work - which is a great convenience considering that finding auto rikshaws or Uber/Olas is pure matter of luck. The food in the hotel restaurant is good - which is just as well since a guest has very little choice other than eating here. No other decent eating joint for about a kilometer in the vicinity. There is a MacDonald's exactly opposite on the other side of the road but the tall road divider ensures that you can get there only if you can walk a kilometer. Traveling to the station or airport on your own can be little inconvenient. If you are not lucky to find an Uber/Ola from the hotel, then it involves traveling to the Sarkhej circle (about 7 km away) to find one. The hotel offers a taxi service but they naturally charge for the return trip.

Having coackroach in our food..... Still no support from staff members. Very bad . Recommended not to go .... Qll staff in kitchen were laughing. Was looking forgood quality food & ready to pay premier price but get frustrated. Not recommended to go.

The Shangri - La Grand is a very conviniently located on the National Highway No. 8 A and very much suitable for a night halt for travellers on the N. H No.8, also offers great connections to parts of Ahmedabad like S G Highway etc Unfortunately its a sad case of a beautifully made property gone haywire because of very poor Upkeep and worst staff behaviour. Breakfast is served in the room and best Avoided. The room which was shown and the one finally offered were same, but the upkeep of the one given was hopeless, to say the least.

I have stayed at this hotel during my Business Trip to the Ahmedabad. I like this hotel because of its unique services to the guests. The staff of the hotel is very friendly and informative. Hotel's ambiance is very beautiful and interior of the room is very pleasant which can give you mental peace when you enter. The hotel is giving the some special unique services to their prestigious guests. I have enjoyed my stay of four days over here which was memorable and I suggest to everyone of my friends and relatives to experience this hotel once.

Recently had a chance to stay during one of the business trip at this place for a night. Location wise it suited as it is located nearer to our destination office of the client. Rooms are good in size. However the room given to me was dirty and needed attention in terms of house-keeping. There is free breakfast in the tariff. This breakfast is not offered in the restaurant but only in the room. There are only two choices bread pakora and bread omelette. Something which does not go in line with Shangri-La the world over. Restaurant is located outside the hotel and there is not internal connectivity.

I have been here for a business trip to a nearby industry. As I didn't want to travel all the way to city and come back the next morning, I stayed here. The hotel looks good from outside but inside the maintenance is not good. The walls are spoiled due to the water accumulation. And the lenin is also not well maintained. But its OK if its not for a luxury stay.

This is one place that would save your taste buds at this industrial area. The food is delicious and tasty. The price you pay is also worth the money you spend. A good meal for 4 wouldn't cost you more than 1000 INR. Try Al-carte as much as possible. Be clear with what you order else you could end up eating something else.
I used only the restaurant not sure about the stay.

I have visited restaurant with friends of company. They have arranged all at one room for group. Nice location and yummy food at reasonable rates. Ambience was good. Service excellent, must visit if you cross by bavla sarkhej highway
